Treadmills

I admit, I'm green when it comes to the issue of treadmills but I'm looking into one just because I could get on it in all weather.

Any suggestions on a good one to get under $400? I know there's not many to choose from for that price. I'm looking to doing some light jogging on it...

If money is tight and you have to be able to do your thing inside, maybe look into jumping rope. It is really good exercise and, a good rope costs nothing compared to a treadmill :)
 
Under $400 is tough. If you can go up to about $500 there is the Horizon Fitness T61 treadmill. It's probably going to be the best you'll be able to find that isn't a waste of money at that price. Horizon has a great track record for the low to mid range consumer treadmills.

Agreed or body weight workouts
 
Or try craigslist for used ones. There's usually plenty on there depending on your location and most are very gently used.
