Trapezius

Ok, my left trapezius muscle is okay, I can tense it to make it really visible but my right side, there is nothing there at all. Whats going on? How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance.

do dumbell shrugs but on ur right side use more weight on the dumbell to try and balance it out a bit .

Nooo

Do dumbbell shrugs with weight that is hard for your right trap to get for 8 reps (in which you'd fail on 9) Keep the same weight.

What wannabench said wouldn't help you because you'd be strengthening both your traps, in which you're left would still be stronger then your right.

Traps look bigger when you rotate the scapula instead of just elevate it. You might be doing something wrong when flexing your right trap. It took me a while to figure out how to flex my left trap.

I would suggest power cleans as they really hit my traps hard. This way you get even weight distribution. If you're not that big already then it doesn't really matter to have perfect symmetry and just continuing to work your traps can only help.

A picture of what you're talking about would help...unilateral imbalances of the trapezius is very rare. It sounds more postural than anything else...

Best I have right not is a camera phone, you can hardly see it in the picture.

If you look close enough you can see where it's not there.

If you train your legs the same day as traps, you can do step-ups. Hell you could even shrug at the top to if you wanted haha
