I stared out at 194 and starting going to the gym and eating healthy. I lost 17 pounds in 1 month and my goal is to be 165 by the end of march or middle of april. I stopped drinking soda and drank water at every meal. My favorite thing to eat was tuna and tons of veggies. I went to the gym 3-4 days a week and ran or walked anywhere from 2-4 miles each time. I didn't do any lifting just pushups and sit-ups. While losing the weight over the last month I still drank between 5-20 beers a weekend. I have cut down on the drink the last 2 weeks only 6 beers a weekend. Im happy now but looking forward to reaching my goal in the next few weeks. I will post when I am at 170 which might take a few weeks.
