Training Abs

I've been working out 6 days a week, I do cardio every day and weights 3 times a week (I know some people will tell me I do "too much cardio" but I don't really want to get bigger, I want to keep the muscle I have and lose the fat). Anyhow, here's my question: I work my abs when I do my weightlifting routine (on sundays tuesdays and thursdays) - would it be better and/or speed up their development to do my ab routine on monday wednesday friday, or does it not really matter? thanks.
 
no amount of ab work outs will give you perfect abs you have to keep up the cardio inorder to lose the fat covering your abs.
 
JSG - Depending on what your weight training workout looks like; i think you might benefit from moving your ab/core training to your off lifting days. I personally have 2 days devoted entirely to core and stability training. If you've seen a lag in their development; move days anyway just to jump start your workout.
 
Im not frustrated with the results I still have a lot of fat to lose around my stomach, I will just keep doin what Im doin now and then when I get to the point where I have lost enough fat to see a six pack will start with a more intense ab workout
