Tornado Days 2006 Journey

Hey Your Still Doing Great And Probably Losing Inches Instead Of Pounds Just Keep Up The Good Work

Thanks you guys.

It's nice to know people are confident in you when you, yourself, are not.

Me and the b/f went to the supermarket last night and thrilled to say that NO JUNK FOOD came into the house at all...now that's what I'm talkin' about! :p

Good Morning Tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep up the good work. I bet it so exciting to fit into a pair of pants and actually feel comfortable in them. Keep it up and stay postive for all of us.

Argh!!!

Well, those pants probaby won't fit this week. Last week, I gained 3 pounds blaming water intake and TOM (which still hasn't happened, but am bloated "big time") to the gain. Me and my b/f went to the supermarket mid week and brought no junk food into the house at all, which is fantastic, as he isn't trying to lose weight and is not the most supportive with me trying to lose weight. Anyways, the food choices meal time have been good..fruits, veggies, and healthy meals (chicken/rice, chicken/salad, grilled veggies, etc.); however, the meal portion sizes have been extremely huge and after I feel horrible, but I ate big meals cause I wasn't feeling satisfied with a smaller portion. I'm starting to think that it is the winter blues. For those of you who live here in Newfoundland KNOW what I'm talking about...over 100 cm of snow in less than 2 weeks. I should admit to something here...my b/f's grandmother gave him a homemade cherry cheesecake and he snuck it into the house yesterday. Lets just say, I spotted it a little while ago and had a nice chunk; so, in addition to the huge portions all week, the winter blues, and some cheesecake...I'm dreading the weigh in tomorrow morning, but am going to do it and document it. No use in not documenting the bad weeks, as we all have them and must deal with it. It's frustrating! Most definitely going to make sure that my meal portions aren't so big this week, and hopefully will get back on track. Oh, and I won't be having any more cheese cake either...it had way too many cherries for my liking and it kinda turned me off it. The b/f can finish it up. :D

Thanks for listening.

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I weighed in at 199.4, which is down 0.2 from last week.

For breakfast, I had toast and coffee.

Apple mid-morning.

Sandwich: 1 slice swiss cheese and turkey breast on WW bread with honey mustard, and a banana.

Supper: Small amount of chinese food.

My plan is to drink a few glasses of water this evening and maybe a yogurt in an hour.

I was sweating bullets walking to the machine this morning, but glad I did!

Oh Boy!

Sorry guys. It's been a while, and I've been doing horribly.

Here's the verdict...
March 13/06 - 204.6
March 20/06 - 201.3
March 27/06 - 202.8

...and I was doing so well with it. I'm getting back on the wagon tomorrow. I'm hopefully to lose 10 pounds/month over the next three months. Now that the weather is starting to get a bit better, I can get out walking again soon, so that will help a great deal.

Hopefully, I'm down on Monday, so that will be my "new" starting weight for the next three months. Anys words of motivation? I really need some right about now....

New starting weight

Well, I weighed in at 206.4 this morning.

Breakfast was a banana and slice of toast.

Lunch was banana and half of a sandwich on a 12 grain bread with tuna fish.

Supper was mashed potatoes and half of a chicken pot pie.

Not the best choices, but need to get groceries.

New start weight at 206.4

I feel pretty good about how I did this past week, but only time will tell on Monday morning. The weather is starting to improve and the snow is ALMOST gone, so I'm thinking once Easter weekend rolls around, I'll start walking again in the morning and in the evening.

We officially started BBQ season last night, soooo looking forward to that. Any tips or treats for BBQ'ing?

Hey, I wasn't doing so great there for a while having put on approx. 8 pounds in a month, BUT, when I weighed in Monday Morning (April 10TH), I went down to 203.4, so lost approx. 3 pounds in a week.

I feel as if I have been doing good so far this week, but it is only early yet. We'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the support! We're hoping to start walking very soon, maybe even as soon as tomorrow morning...it's absolutely gorgeous here today!

202.4

Slow and steady, though the weight I put on in a month wasn't that way. :p

But this week I was down another 1.?? pounds, so that's FANTASTIC!
