toolips weight loss diary

worked my butt off, im drenched in sweat lol
after workout snack =
hummus snack = 170 cal
and a "skinny" caramel cappucino = 70 cal

my god work was so frusterating. i did 4 pallets of a beer order so atleast it was extra exercise. supper was a steak and 1 piece of homemade bread. time to have my v8.

You can afford to eat the egg yolk. By not eating it you pass up vitamin A D E and K and half the protein in an egg. Its simply a false economy not to eat the yolk unless you don't like it.

Better to give up the cheerios which i think are probably pure sugar. Correct me if i'm wrong.

congrats on going to the gym and sticking to your diet regime.

cheerios are good for your heart and cholesterol. :) or thats what i heard.

Yeh and some cheerios are whole-grainey. I think it's honey nut cheerios that aren't healthy.

Great job on your hardcore work out.
Mmm all your food sounds so good.
I want one of those breakfast sandwiches. Om nom.

30lbs in 2 months?
Imagine if we did that.
We could be down 30lbs by July. Eeeee.

breakfast is some oatmeal and a "skinny" caramel cappucino
I was stupid and decided to weigh myself only after 2 days of diet lol.

mmm caramel cappuccino <333
you're a coffee drinker. we must be bffs haha.

Did you lose anything when you weighed?

hahaha i agree! i loooove coffee. what i drink are called "skinny" cappucino's, they come in caramel, vanilla and mocha. they're only 70 cal and still pretty good. they help me get my fix.

i weighed 192.1 so im very very close to being 191, and it's only been 2 days but i should have waited till friday to weight myself lol i just get too anxious

snack - banana
for lunch i had a chicken penne - 230cal
snack - some nuts and cranberry's
for dinner i had another steak lol gotta love that meat.

Going well with the weight loss so far, keep it up! I'm amazed you can eat what (it seems to me) looks like so little. I'd love to be able to turn my appetite down/ off and eat less (although I think, given my current regime, that would be bad. On my old regime it would've been really good)

thanks for the support :)

to be honest, if i never had money for fast food, i wouldnt have gained all this weight! lol my plan is working for me really well so far. if i get hungry, i try to throw in a fruit, or a cup of milk or a small bowl of shrimp wonton soup which is only 100 cal and it fills me up.
my biggest weakness i think are burgers and mozza sticks, which is deep fried cheese lol
my main goal is to try and go without fast food for atleast a month. if i make it, i'm going to try for 2 months.
my friends eat a lot of fast food, so im worried about it.

I wouldn't stress too much. OK, fast food is really (really, really) bad, but this has to be a change that you can sustain over the long term. If it's going to mess with your social life you won't want to stick with the plan. My thought (no idea how it'd work for you, given you eat so little) would be to reduce my food by a little (say, 100-200 calories) for a few days before and after (or just after if it's unplanned, and adjust as needed for extra calories taken in) going out for dinner or something (better if you know the calories in what you're eating- I wish places were required to post nutritional information here- but estimate if you're not). It's all about averages. Sure, the less of that you can eat the better, but it's bound to happen every so often, I reckon.

(Of course this isn't the same as saying "go nuts, eat whatever you like", but I'm sure you know that)

Mozzarella sticks are SO GOOD. Om nom nommmm <333
Mm i like your ideas for healthy snacks when you're peckish. Good thinking.

hahaha yes i hear ya. unfortunately, "cheat" days have been known to ruin my diet because i get one taste, i go into a frenzy.

what i enjoy is Tim Hortons chili. its SOOOOO good, and with the bun its about 500 cal so i'm thinking if i really really want some fast food, i'll just drive up to tim hortons.
as for my social life, me and my friends go for drinks every weekend, but i'm gonna stick to rum and diet coke. but thats usually when we get our food, after a night of partying! so i might just fill up on really healthy low cal stuff the nights i plan to go out. i know with my social life, i'm gonna have to eat some unfortunate stuff but i'll just try not to eat as much as i usually.

Wow I love how similar we are! I am 5'5 and as of this morning I was 185 (down from 189 2 days ago). Also similar is the weight loss/gain through high school and the gaining because of depression. Especially eventlt I've been struggling a little bit I think I'm back on board :) I'm rooting for you and it sounds like so far so good for you! Keep us updated!!

yay, we can do it together then :)
i'm sorry to hear about your depression :( but it's what happens in the past that makes us who we are today.
i've managed to control my anger, and random outburst and i've become more patient! and more positive.
i hope everything goes well for you :)
do you have a diary?

breakfast was breakfast sandwich
snack- orange
lunch- whole wheat flat bread, grilled chicken, mozzerella, green and red peppers.
nom nom nom

my sister's bailing on the workout tonight because she had a bad day! i tried to motivate her by "will you regret not going?" or "you'll feel better and less stressed after!"
but no dice.
i'm gonna go anyway and i'm gonna work extra hard today because i'm only down .1 lb
so i'm 192 on the dot. this is sad but i heard at curves, the first month you dont lose much but second month you should lose a bit.
