too much water during workout?

I can easily go through 30 ounces of water while I lift weights, just wanted to know if thats too much

IMO, if you "feel" you need it, drink it. You will piss out the excess you dont need. Water does the body good.

Are you excessively thirsty all the time?

ya i often do feel thirsty but I think some of it contributes to me using water as a mental crutch as I workout
I was just a bit concerned because I heard its not good to work out after just eating or drinking because you dont wont it bouncing around in your stomach

Dependent on the amount of activity, it is a good idea (at least IMO), to allow a couple of hours after eating before fitness training (this way it allows the body to start/finish the initial digestion process), and you can obtain some benefit from the nutrient absorbtion.

I drink water (and sometimes Crystal Lite) during my training, because I like the garage hot when I workout in the garage, and I tend to sweat alot. Drinking water during this time (at least in this activity) is good and assists in cooling the body and aides in hydration.

As far as the water is concerned, if you feel the need for it, there is no problem with consuming it during a workout, of course. IMO.

I'll down sometimes 2 24 oz. cups of water when I train. I have this big plastic mug I fill. Plus I down 32 oz or so when I first wake up in the morning.
then I drink water all day long while I sit here at my desk.

I don't think you are over doing it.
 
I drink a fair bit of water in the gym. I swet alot though. I do 3000 meters on the rowing machine then go to weights and I swet non stop. I drink alot but I feel like a right pig as I take a 2Letre bottle of H2o in :p
 
I personally drink tons of water, all the time :D

This goes especially for during workouts. Beyond the point where it keeps me hydrated, it probably doesn't help, but I don't think it can hurt either. I wouldn't worry about it
 
It's all ok if ur drinking to much water. Instead it help digest and absorb vitamins and nutrients. It also detoxifies the liver and kidneys, and carries away waste from the body.
