well i have been working out religiously for about 4 months and im making alot of progress but i just dont know if im over working or not..
i go every day for about one hour maybe one hour 15min to the gym heres my schedule
day 1~ chest
day 2~ biceps/triceps
day 3~ shoulders/back
day 4~ legs
i like to do chest and legs on their own day because i think these two areas are the biggest and need the most work so far it seems to be doing just fine.. i usually dont take any days off i just reset my days after i do legs.. and im not sure if thats smart or not.. so question 1 should i take a day or two off a week from working out or is it fine doing this continously every day..?
now my routine includes
chest~ i usually start with a flat bench barbell bench press 3 sets of 10/8/6 sometimes if i feel good 12/10/8 going up in weight every set.. after that i move to the inclinde bench press same thing 3 sets of 10/8/6 or 12/10/8 and incraese weight every set.. after that i go to declined bench press three sets of 10/8/6 increasing weight every set.. and then when im done with that i go to the cables and do 3 different excercises i dont know how to explain them so ill just leave those but my question is am i overdoing the chest? i mean should i just stop with those first three excersises or can doing a little more not hurt.. oh and everyother time i do chest i do same excercise but with hand weights.. so do you think i might be overworking my muscles and holding them back or do you think going everyday is fine? and im only 17 so i think im young enough that my body can keep up and i eat alot of food like maybe 6 chicken breasts and a cup of rice a day + lots of milk/water so i have plenty of food thx for any info.. and also if you have any suggestions about changing up my chest routine id appreciate it because chest is probably my favortie thing to work and i really want it to be sculpted nice
