Hmmm...ive never actually done this type of thing before, but i know that i might get carried away and type way to much. I'm going to apologize beforehand :p

Ive joined this site yesturday and thought that if i dont start commiting to a diary, it would take me about a year to begin, so here i am.

Well, right now im in Year 12, ive got 9 weeks until i start my exams (which would determine my university courses), so im not sure if i'd be able to sucessfuly have an exercise program, eat right (im an emotional eater...when i get stressed i turn to food. Quite sad really) and at the same time have a study timetable. But I'm hoping that by doing my exersice program i would have more energy and be able to concerntrate on my work better than i do now.

About this 'exersice program' that i invented in my mind, im not sure if this is the right way to go about this but here are my plans (hopefuly i'll start doing this tomorrow):
1. Go on the treadmil for 40 mins/take a walk for 40 mins every Tueday, Friday and Sunday
2. On other days do 20 sit ups, 20 push ups, 20 'leg ups' (not sure what the technical term for that is...)
** Drink plenty of water (thank you catherine20 for reminding me of that :))

Im writing this down for myself, and ofcourse so that if i dont do them, i'll feel guilty that i wrote this here and wasted peoples time. Sometimes you gotta love guilt hehe.

Will write back soon-ish
Thank you for whoever is reading this :)

Good luck with it :). My advice would be not to start TOO strenuously if you are new to exercise.. and to remember to make sure you eat enough healthy food to give your body and brain the nutrients you need at this time.

Year 12 .. does that mean you're in the UK? I am too .. though it's been a while since I did my A levels, heh (are they even called A levels anymroe?!)

Thanks:) Im going to take baby steps..well maybe bigger steps, but im not sure what to call them hehe.

I have no idea if they're called A levels anymore, coz im from Australia hehehe. UK's such a beautiful country, one day i'll go there...once i get money hehe

p.s. moose's make me laugh lol... along with llamas (yes, yes im immature :p)

Do check out the stickied threads - especially in the weight l oss thru exercise section - you'll get lots of ideas on how to improve your workout...

welcome to your diary and much success on your journey.

it seems as though i've forgotten about this site. Alot as changed since my last entry

During my loooong exam period, ive gained around 10 kilos because of the excessive confort chocolate, confort ice cream..etc.

About a week after i've finished my exams, i went with a group of people to travel around Israel for 3 weeks. Thoes three weeks were the best in my life. I have found out alot about myself.. for example, turns out i like hiking! lol

Whilst i was there i had time to reflect on myself, on my actions, and my future without parents butting in. The more exercise i did, the better i felt, and the more confidant i felt. And though i've known that exercise does have these effects, i never imagined how amazing it would feel =]

I came back 10 kilo's lighter and with a much lighter view on life... sadly that didnt last for long.

Coming back home ment cleaning the house, dealing with uni and basically the everyday things that i forgot existed whilst i was overseas. All the enthusiasm that i had is slowly fading away.

Im back to my 'ice cream attacks', the whole 'OMG something went wrong so my friend SUPER CHOCOLATE would help'.

Yet on the positive side, i've been going out more, which means running to catch the train and walking more... i believe the term is 'being overall more active' hehe. That enthusiasm still is here, and thats what i want to work with.

How do u know when your serious about ur weightloss? I mean i've done soo many diets/life style changes and they never seem to last. I always go too extreme in being fit and then i go back to the bad extremes. When is it that ONE time when u know ur life is going to change?

Anyways, im off to.. thank you to whoever has read this.. i know i cannot make my writing 'flow' to save my life  lol

much love =]
