Hi Tob,
I'm glad your able to start walking/running again. Sorry to hear your legs still giving you pain. Maybe you should stop the running for a while and just do the walking.
I don't think I ever said congratulations on the new pregnancy. Maybe you could ask your wife to hide her snacks and just eat them when your not there.
Anyway I hope everything goes well.
 
That's a smart schedule! You want to take the rest that your body needs! You also don't want to over do it and get burnt out :D

Sorry to hear your leg isn't feeling too good :( Are the stretches working?! :)

I want to walk but i feel like i need to lose weight faster so i am running and walking. I was off for a few days but still they hurt.
Yeah, I eat her snacks when she isn't home haha.

Sorry about the lack of updates guys, I am super busy right now! hopefully Monday will be back to normal.

I know what you mean about not being able to resist the snacks. I think kids (mine in particular) should be able to have snacks like cookies, cake, etc once in a while but when ever I make that stuff for them I CAN NOT leave it alone! And once I have one, I am done for - binge city!

get me in on that secret too. my parents LOVE the junk food. always a stash of ice cream and potato chips around.

maybe we should create a group or something to help ourselves resist the snacks. lol :p
 
Honestly I haven't found a secret... its either will power or getting rid of them.
The last couple days has been like rain and really cold when i get home so no walking... and my eating has been piss poor, Right now I have at going one on a personal level and I find my self going for food... its hard to break that kind of a habit. I am hoping to walk today its going to be nice it just depends what time i get home from work.

Hey Tob! I can totally relate to what you said about food here. I've been dealing with this habit myself. But I think you are doing the right thing in removing it whenever you can until you figure out something else. I hope you get in your walk this evening. Walking rox! Especially if you have a good path, it can be very relaxing!
 
Just popping by to say hi! "cheating" really can become a habit. I am currently trying to break mine. good luck! chin-up... we all go through slumps. hopefully you can get your walk in, might make you feel better. :)
 
Thanks Xenon and Katie, No I didn't get me walk in I actually had a dinner I had to leave at 4 to get to and I get home from work around 4 so there was no time. I am hoping today I will get a walk/run in.

Also I need to get disciplined again on my food, It seems when i stop doing one thing i stop doing both...

Hey guys, I dunno how much i will be updating for a while. I went from running/walking to just walking for a bit. I have not been keeping track so much of the miles as just going when i have a chance.
I have lots of stuff going on around the house and in my family. I have two family members on their death bed so between that, my wife being pregnant and work picking up i am stressed and moody. my eating has gone to shit, not that im "over eating" just eating not so health things...
So thats it, I have not given up I just need some time for things to calm down a bit.

I am doing well, Thanks. I took a break from the computer and what not for a while and focused on some other things. I am sorry to not write more often I just Felt like distancing my self from constant internet and computer use for a while.

I was walking often and I started running with my best friend. I haven't really been keeping track of miles walked or anything. My eating is still shit though haha. I have been working on it.

Thanks again all. I will start updating more I just try to only sit and surf the internet when i have free time instead of all the time.
