Tob's walkabout

Beautiful scenery, I love the pictures you took. Where I walk there are not many houses around either. A lot of farm land! I my take some pictures, if I get to walk outside today. We have critters here too, right now we have a Raccoon prowling around our land. And I see lots of dear, and in the spring lots of skunks, lol. And black birds are crazy here in the spring they fly in flocks around my land, like raining birds on my roof, lol.

Its really been hectic lately, i have been busy doing family stuff. So i have not been on to do my food diary.
i did my weigh in this morning i was 198 again... sucks.

hi :waving:hope i`m not intrudin but i`m getting desperate felt like ordering pizza strait after my tea tonight. my weight just doesnt seem to be lifting like yours. like people have told me tho some weeks you just wont lose then the next you`ll lose 3-4 pounds.

not at all friend. Yeah well i did do a Run today. And they are calling for shitty weather again this week... so i'm hoping to run a few times this week.
 
just dropping in to say hi. :) you said you feel like you have been at 198 for forever :( frustrating feelign eh. maybe you need to change something up? could you be plateauing?? (just a thought).

Breakfast: 1 cup of Froot loops FFmilk. ( i was out of Special K )
Snack: none
Lunch: 12" ham and turkey sub and some baked lays.
Snack: Energy Drink.
DInner: 10 chicken nuggets and broccoli
Snack: Banana

Walked/Ran 4.4 miles.

Breakfast: 1 teaspoon of peanut butter and a banana
Snack: special K bar
Lunch: 6 chicken nuggets and a half a bowl of home made chili
Snack: Energy Drink, banana
DInner: Veggie Wrap
Grilled Sliced Portabello Mushroom, Spinach, Fresh
Mozzarella and Hummus Seared on our Panini Grill
Side salad
small Sam adams cherry wheat
and a couple bits of my wife's peanut butter pie.

Dinner was not so good, we went out to eat. I ordered a small draft beer. My wife got dessert so i had a few bites. :puke:s

Walked/Ran 2 miles
 
Hi! I have seen you around more and more and thought I'd pop in to check out your journal. That might have been a mistake though because all that talk of food is making me HUNGRY!!! LOL! Just kidding!

You seem to be doing really well so far. I noticed in your last few posts that you mentioned running with your walks. Are you just getting started on the running? I used to hate running myself up until last summer. A few people on this forum inspired me to give it a try and now I LOVE it!

Yeah i used to run a few years ago, i am just getting back into it again. I really like walking because its low impact haha.

Normally I run 3 to 4 miles on 3 days out of the week, and on Sundays I run 6 to 7 miles. I live in the country and don't have a good running surface in the best of weather, and right now every surface outside is under 2 or 3 feet of snow, so I do all my running on a treadmill.

I do not run that far as i am just getting back into the swing of things.
I also live in the country. A lot of hills where i live.

Snack: none
Lunch: greek salad
Snack: Energy Drink.
Dinner: lean home made smoked deer sausage and potato wedge


Worked out in basement.

Lunch: 12" turkey sub & baked lays from subway. ( diet soda )
Snack: Energy Drink & banana peanut butter/ few almonds
Dinner: Turkey wrap / 2 redbeet eggs

walked/Run 4.4 miles

Felt awesome today, did a lot of running this time. lots of hills out here. COLD as sin out side. 24* with wind.

I feel good today.
 
incorporating running in... nice. i miss running. and to run in the cold, really impressive. do you find it hurts your lungs? lol i always feel that i have like daggers in my lungs if i run when its close to or below freezing. haha just me?

Yeah, its very painful i will be honest, i had to take a knee going up the one hill. my right lung felt like it was going to pop and I swear i tasted blood lol.
