To work out or not to work out...

Did an intense spin class yesterday and feel quite tired today. Was planning on doing some resistance work but will have to force myself really hard to go to the gym. Should I still go irrespective of being tired because it's a different type of workout or should I give myself a break?
 
Are spin classes good? Are they more just CV?
They do them at my gym and I have been tempted, but never taken the plunge yet.

I just tried one this week. Talked to several people and found one that didn't have the serious competitors in it, it was more beginners.

I thought I was in shape, but it's clearly been a long time since I've been on a bike!

It was a great workout and I thought my legs would ache the next day, but they didn't. Neither did my butt!!

I would do it again. It was good to close my eyes and actually pretend I was on that flat country road the instructor was describing. I dig imagery anyway.
