Average men should begin with a bag from 75-100 pounds and super athletes should
work 150 and up. Of course the specific goal of the training session will dictate the size
of the bag. Conditioning days should use the lighter side because fatigue will accumulate
very quickly. Maximal strength and power development should employ heaver bags.
