To those strulling to hit the chest.

Wow. I just got it and thanks a lot, lots of good information

Average men should begin with a bag from 75-100 pounds and super athletes should
work 150 and up. Of course the specific goal of the training session will dictate the size
of the bag. Conditioning days should use the lighter side because fatigue will accumulate
very quickly. Maximal strength and power development should employ heaver bags.

I think I can fit an extra 10-15lbs in the backpack.

I will give this a good read when I come back, but right now have to drop off lil bro at school. Second day of second grade :p

Thanks again.

I just sent it, I'll see what other stuff I can dig out

As for sandbag weight, I have no idea I'm afraid, I don't have scales at home but I am trying to get hold of some

Good stuff Typhon, I incorporated some of those exercises in today

I had a 40lb rice bag, but it was too light so just put around 60-70lbs in a backpack. Did things like cleans, presses, squats, and rows along with my other barbell work.

Evo: Do you by any chance have a simple sand-bad routine that I can do? I already know I can do things like squats, presses, etc. But was wondering if there is anything creative I am missing.

P.S I don't have a sand-bag, so I will either be using both a medium sized rice bag and a backpack filled with as much as 70-80lbs. ( too much weight ? )

You might find this interesting--

Rice bags...hmmm, my mom goes through a 25lb bag of rice like nothing...I'm gonna see if she has a couple of those and just start lifting...see where that gets me...
