To my body, with love.

Yesterday, K took me out on a date to a lovely restaurant in town. We shared a pizza (ricotta + spinach) and a carafe of red wine. It was perfect. Today we went out for coffee & shared a cinnamon butter twist from the French patisserie. It was so delicious. I love sharing food with my love :) It's healthier than eating the whole thing to myself too.

As compensation for today and yesterday's indulgences, I'm about to head to the gym for a run before work.
 
I had pizza and red wine last night, too. No delicious French pastries, though, so I'm missing out! Hope you had a great run!
 
It's been a while & I've mostly been eating a lot of food.
I'm still regularly exercising & am running my fastest ever 5kms.
The other day I ran 5km in 25 mins so that felt good.

Today's food:

Protein shake
Soup + bread with cheese & crackers
Quest bar
 
I haven't weighed myself in a while; I doubt the scale will have gone down.
My partner and I are going to a wedding in Spain in three weeks, so we're on a calorie controlled health plan until then.
I'm aiming for 1320 calories daily...
In 5 weeks I could weigh 158lbs, which would be brilliant.

Yesterday I ate 1726 calories and burned 601 calories.

Today I'm reduce my breakfast calories, but have already filled up on a snack.

So far:

1 coffee / light soya milk
1/2 cup Special K + 1 Weetabix biscuit + 1 cup milk
1 apple + 2tbsp P2b + 1/2 tsp of real peanut butter

Ran for 16 minutes during an hour of dog walking.

I'm going to go less hard at the gym, since my calories are quite significantly restricted.
 
Calorie control is going well.
Saturday: I had around 1700 net calories.
Sunday: Around 1200 net calories.
Monday: Around 1300 net calories.

I already feel tighter in my body. Sometimes, it's worth calorie counting to get an understanding of what my body really needs.

It's raining today, so only got out for a 20 minute dog walk with the dogs, but K & I will take a trip to the gym after work later.

Food wise so far:

1/2 cup special K
1 weetabix biscuit
10g of dried fruit
3g of walnuts
1 cup of semi skimmed milk

1 x coffee + soya light (35 cals)

1 x stick of gum (5 cals).
So far today:
 
Good job getting back on track with cals, you prob dropped some water weight too which can help make you feel tighter!

Ran 10km this morning. The sun is hot but I just about managed to complete my run. I love the extra calories I'm alloyed through running.
At least 800. That's amazing.

Today I've eaten:

Two bananas/blueberries/strawberries/chia seeds

Coconut date bar (homemade)

20g of cheese + pickle in a Sandwich thin.

1 sq of dark chocolate.

Feeling fairly virtuous.

I should probably weigh in soon. I'm nervous that all this calorie counting will have been for nothing.
 
Oooh, homemade coconut date bar? Sounds lovely! I might have to look up a recipe and try that this weekend. Great job on the run! The heat is tough to deal with but runners are tough enough to handle it :)
 
I really hope your weigh in shows what you want. You seem to have been doing very well the last little bit.

Took the dogs to the beach and we walked for about an hour and a half.
I had a 5-ingredient granola bar for breakfast... but that was a stupid food choice and not only burned right through me in like, 10 minutes, but also wasn't a very healthy start to the day.

Just ate 1 rice cake and PNB... and a handful of strawberries.

I will drink some water and a coffee with almond milk.
