Haven't actually tried this but can't see it not working!
When I do 'Good Mornings' and use big weights on a bar bell that sits on my next, it hurts, so I just roll up a jumper and sit it on my neck.
I'm think if I get one of those plastic pool toys and cut it to about a foot and make a slit down the centre I can fit it to the bar bell and use that as a sponge and then remove it easily once complete.
