Tingeling in hands...

Hey,

When i do heavy jump rope for 30 minutes, towards the end my hands get this very strong tingeling sensation running through them, i usually stop it by lying on my back, breathing heavily and letting the blood pump through, but i would still be interested to know what's going on.

Thanx.

This is actually one of the symptoms of diabetes. It could also be carpal tunnel syndrome. The only things I can think of. Check with your doc.

Could it have been that when i was skipping my hands were upright abit, therefore not letting as much blood to them as they should be getting?

Nope, blood will still flow to your hands.

***k and im getting it just normaly, and latley my vision has been funny, ive suffered from being lathargic for a while now, i thought it was splenda...but even when i didnt use it it happened, im always going to the toilet, always hungry, often thristy, get itchy skin and dry skin. These, are the symptoms for diabetes...My uncle has diabetes, so it's in my blood. Im scared....and im glad i made the post and you guys replied, im getting tested for it tomorrow morning, so ill be fasting til the test is done.:(

Thanx guys, I've just had the blood test, it won't be until Thursday that i get the results. I hated having to fast! I went 15 hours without food because of the que!

Hmm, well a little past Thursday, oh well.

Turns out i don't have diabetes, my blood sugar level for the last 6 months has been 4.3. Umm, what else, i am getting all the vitamins and minerals i need plus more, and my bad cholestrol is so low, it's not even on the charts!

The tingling was probablly from exhausting myself too much.
