I just started doing a full body workout 3 days/week by Chad Waterbury from t-nation. I've been lifting 2 years. I'm female, 5'5'', 121 lbs. BF % is around 16-18%. I'm going for even more muscle, reduced body fat.
Heres my question: Each day has different # of reps to complete and with that there are different rest periods
Day 1 --- 3 sets, 5 reps, 60 sec. between sets
Day 2 --- 3 sets, 8 reps, 90 sec. between set
Day 3 --- 2 sets, 15 reps, 120 sec. between sets
Particularly on Day 3, the rest of 120 seconds seems LONG.. I mean I feel perfectly capable of doing my 15 reps again at 60 or so seconds or so. Is it really necessary for me to wait 120 seconds?
