Thanks, Yes it should help. Now just to go out and buy some thermal underwear!
164.6 this morning. If I hold on to this I will make my goal for the end of february!

Just had a chance to catch up with your diary properly. Great news re the horse show! Triple YAY!!! Also great news on the new, new low xo

Thank you.
Managed to sneak out to the barn to ride in the middle of the workday, which was nice because it gave me a bit more time to relax in the evening.
Felt tired and really didn't want to work out, but knew that I needed to do it today. I would still be done by 5:30 and have the rest of the evening to relax, which means that on another day if I have to work late or have something else going on I don't have to worry about it. I actually thought it'd be a great day to do yoga, but the only class I wanted to do went at 8pm! No way I'm going to a workout class at 8pm haha.
Did my circuit training. I felt like I could push myself a little harder in some areas (though my lungs and heart didn't appreciate it!), but some areas were terribly difficult.
As much as I wanted to just relax and do nothing this evening, I ran out of my last lunch portion in the freezer so needed to make a big batch of something. Ended up making Enchiladas. Made 6 full ones, so enough for 12 lunches (though I already ate one portion). I also made brownies! So by the time I got to sit down and relax it was nearly 7pm. Hardly any earlier than if I were to have ridden! Oh well, had to be done.

Lunch: Lasagna
Supper: Bagel with PB, 1/2 enchilada
Snack: 3 cookies, white cheddar popcorn
Total Cals: 1504

My mom left today to go to mexico (and manitoba but who wants to talk about that!) for almost 2 weeks. This means that I have no front staff at the shop, which makes life much more difficult having to stop grooming to answer the phones and deal with the front. It also means that I am looking after our dog, Bear. Today went ok, but after I was done grooming, since my mom isn't around, I had to wait for my last 2 dogs to get picked up. I was starting to get worried that I wouldn't make my yoga class at 4:45.
They did finally get picked up at 4 (which really isn't late, we can technically be open till 5pm if clients need, but when you finish at 3:15 and are trying to make it somewhere by 4:45 it feels late!) Rushed home, as I got home there were people on the parkade ramp telling me that the exit door to the parkade wasn't working so we had to use the entrance door. Well I rushed upstairs, changed, rushed back down to leave. Well of course, trying to leave out of the entrance door was no fun. Everyone was coming home so I had to deal with 3 separate cars coming in as I was leaving and apparently no one was out there telling them the door wasn't working (maybe the exit door was working now I have no idea, it had only be maybe 20 mins since I got home so I assumed it wasn't working yet) so they were very pissed off at me. Thankfully, made it out unscathed and made it to hot yoga on time.
MAN the class was FULL, we were crammed in there like sardines and of course I got stuck next to the guy who was sweating buckets and not wearing a shirt so no fabric to catch all his sweat. I just hoped I wasn't lying in the pool of sweat around his mat. Ick. And the room was boiling today due to all the people. THey actually had to turn on the cool air a couple times to bring the temp down to a normal hot yoga temp!
My shoulder muscles were just exhausted today. I think from doing my circuit training twice this week. I could hardly do some of the poses my muscles were burning so bad. My quads too, though not as bad as my shoulders.
Got home and could feel my abs a bit from it.
Been sucking back water all day to ensure I am not dehydrated for tomorrow's weigh in due to hot yoga. Though it's nice to see the big drop, I'd rather see a true weight. Having to pee a lot so that should be enough.

Lunch: 1/2 Enchilada
Snack: Turkey Pepperoni Stick
Supper: Salsa Chicken and Grilled Cheese
Snack: 3 Brownies, white cheddar popcorn
Total Cals: 1486

Hot yoga sounds like torture, it´s probably a good change from the circuit stuff though. Large groups of profusely sweaty people wouldn´t be my thing at all but great work nevertheless!

An ok weigh in today. Made my goal weight for the end of February for the Challenge, and should be able to make my mini goal weight for before the horse show at the end of March

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 164.4 (-1.4)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

These undercooled reactions make my hair stand on end! You made your goal, at least celebrate with a stick of celery or something! Seriously though: great work girl, congratulations.

Thanks. I am happy to have made my goal but then I think 'I'm 19 pounds down, and yet not even 4 pounds down from my heaviest the last time I lost weight. If I was 19 pounds down from last time's heaviest weight I'd actually be getting somewhere, but now, I almost as fat as when I felt really fat the last time I tried to lose' But if I stop now, in a month's time I'll be just as fat so gotta keep plugging along.
I felt really tired and out of it at work today. I had zero desire or energy to do anything. Thankfully it was a slowish day so I didn't have to rush or work too hard. But this led to me having zero desire or energy to go ride my horse, which I needed to do since he's only gotten 3 works this week yet (though I think my hiking buddy is gonna ditch me on sunday so I will likely get to ride him then).
I left work shortly after 2 and somehow managed to convince myself to go to the mall. I wanted to get a new sports bra or 2 and I really like my victoria secret one. I walked past the SportsCheck store window on my way into the mall and saw super cute workout pants on the mannequins so decided to go in there and see what they had. Well, they didn't have that much and all of it was super expensive. The cute pants I saw in the window were $150!! Ya right!
Left there and headed to VS. Was kinda disappointed in their sports bra selection. I found the bras that were very similar to the one I have, but they weren't very pretty (silly to by a bra by what it looks like since it really won't be seen but still). I did end up buying one bra but that was it. I looked at pants but the decent looking ones were 60+ bucks and though workout pants will likely fit for longer than regular pants since they are pretty much all spandex I still don't want to spend too much at my current weight.
I then went to Winners. I hate Winners. It reminds me of Value Village but with new clothes, however I had heard from multiple people that it was THE place to shop for workout wear, and they were right. I actually found a lot of cute, funky, unique looking stuff, and for a reasonable price. I think most of the workout pants were 19.99 and the tops/bras were 14.99 or something. I also got a new, cuter yoga mat for 14.99. I would have liked to get a couple more tops as that's what I am mostly lacking but didn't have quite as much selection of those as they did pants and bras.
I was so excited to wear my purchases that I almost went to a yoga class today, but with how tired my muscles felt at yesterday's yoga and how tired I felt during the day today I just thought that I would get there and not be able to do any of the poses and it would be kinda pointless.
Had a super hard time deciding on what to have for supper today after discovering I didn't have enough shrimp to make the recipe I had planned. I then shouldn't have had that half package (made) of jello for snack, felt a bit sick after. I think I need to make sure to only allot enough cals for 2 snacks after supper, not 3.
Tomorrow I plan to ride, then run. I asked on Facebook if anyone wanted to go to a really good mexican restaurant with me tomorrow evening but no one has responded so I may just take myself on a date there tomorrow evening. It would be quite high cal, especially if I have a whole Deep Fried Ice Cream to myself, but as long as I am semi careful with the rest of my weekend meals I think it should be ok.

Lunch: 1/2 enchilada
Supper: Grilled Cheese and Bagel with PB (not the best supper I know)
Snack: 2 brownies, popcorn, 1/2 package jello

I understand you get frustrated with not being further down on the scale yet, but it´s still important to acknowledge when you´re doing a good job even it you´re not perfect.

I´ve pretty much given up on sports bras looking good, my absolute favorite one is over ten years old and looks like something found in the trash but it´s the only thing that´ll keep everything in place so I´ll wear it anyway. Otherwise I now wish there was a "Winners" around here, I want to go shopping for workout stuff!

Hey Mystic, just caught up on your diary for this month... you've done insanely well!!!! You've lost so much and you've made HUGE strides with your fitness/exercise. Seriously you should be proud, don't stress too much looking back or thinking where you could've been by now. That's just life, and you're improving the situation you're currently in which is all you can do!

I also started a diary its hard but I am not going to give up. because starting over and over is just too exhausting.

Got out of bed around 11 this morning I think (was awake before 9:30 but on my computer) and headed to the barn. My horse was a pain in the bum today so ended up getting quite a hard work, which left him a frothy, sweaty mess. And since it was feeling like -14*C today that meant dragging out the hair dryer and spending 30 mins drying him off enough to put him back outside.
Came back home and had a quick lunch before putting on some of my new workout clothes and heading to the gym. Today was treadmill day. Ran 5.07 miles (8.16kms) which is my farthest run yet. First interval (19 mins) was at a speed of 5.2, the rest of the intervals (15-16 min) I ran at 5.3. I did my last 2 mins in a sprint at 7.3. 60 mins total (including warmup and cooldown)
Snapped a quick pic of my new workout gear afterwards

Got back home, had a shower, and relaxed for a bit before getting ready for my date! And who was the lucky person I was going on a date with?! Myself! Yup, none of my friends wanted to go, but I was craving mexican so off I went!
The waiter didn't quite know what to do with me. I don't think many people go to this restaurant alone. It probably didn't help that I was on the internet or texting on my phone the whole time. I had already worked out the cals for this meal yesterday, so made sure to have only a really light lunch today.
For supper I had
Starter Tortilla Chips and dip (this is free at this restaurant, every table gets them)
Beef Enchiladas

And Deep Fried Ice Cream with Honey

This was bigger than it looks in the pic.
I'm guessing it was at least 2500 cals (they don't have nutritional info so I just chose what looked closest on MFP).
However that still leaves me with about 1700 cals for tomorrow which is decent.

Tomorrow I was hoping to go hiking and to hot yoga, however the person I planned this with dropped out of the hiking part and the 2 friends I asked to see if they wanted to go have not responded yet (one may have been in bed already, the other is still showing them as 'online'). I also want to ride tomorrow so my plan had been to ride pretty early, then head straight to where I was gonna meet my friend at 11, then drive out to where we were gonna hike, hike, come back to my house to change then go to yoga at 4pm.
I would still like to do something besides yoga, but don't know if I would want to go hiking alone as I'm not terribly familiar with hiking and I worry I would get bored doing it all alone. So maybe I will run or do my circuit training.

You´re looking good girl! I´m not into pink at all but the fit is great and you´re looking really slim. I love hiking alone, it helps to empty my head and makes it easier to enjoy the surroundings. But then I´m someone who likes being alone anyway so I´m not sure if my opinion helps...

Thanks guys, I've ended up being extremely lazy today. Not only did I not go hiking, and (at least so far) have done no other exercise, but I didn't go riding which I REALLY needed to do! I'm still going to yoga, despite the fact that the person I was supposed to go with bailed on me. It looks beautiful outside so I do plan to walk to and from yoga at least (will probably be pretty cold on my way back since I'll be all sweaty!) Gonna get to use my new yoga mat and more of my new workout clothes.
163.6 surprisingly this morning. I haven't experienced a lot of water weight gain since I have been working out but I still thought after my big meal yesterday that I would see at least a small gain, not a small drop.

You are looking good Mystic. I can't say the same for the Mexican food, I must admit. That ice-cream actually made me feel queasy, just looking at it. I'm not a big fan of Mexican food. Well done on yet another drop!

It was SOOOOO good.
So despite my friend bailing on me, and me feeling VERY lazy, I got myself up and went to yoga. Walked to and from, which is only about a 15 min walk. Today's yoga was a 'flow' class so you flowed from movement to movement rather than having as many 'holds'. My quads took a beating, for sure.
As I was walking home, I could look into the windows of my gym and thought 'hey, I'm already in my workout gear, so why not hop on the treadmill and go for a short run' ( I think I was feeling a bit guilty from being so lazy earlier in the day). So I headed off to the gym. I tried to push it a bit on the speed part since I told myself if only had to be 30 mins. I did the first 9 min interval at 6.0 speed, then the last 2 intervals at 5.8 (just couldn't keep up the first speed), then on the last min did a 7.1 sprint. Distance was 3.12 miles (5.02kms), and cal burn said 397. Getting down off my treadmill, and my quads were just screaming. Phew. T'was a hard one.
Had a shower then made my spicy chicken soup and grilled cheese sandwich.
Almost forgot to eat my snacks. I was tired and had eaten a fairly late supper. But did manage to fit them in ;)

Lunch: Bagel with PB
Snack: Popcorn
Supper: Soup and grilled cheese
Snacks: Cookies and white cheddar popcorn
Total cals: 1697

Under my weekly cals. Trying to drink a lot of water to offset my yoga and running sweating.

New workout outfit number 2
