Time to stick with it!!

I wanted to message you yesterday but don't have a computer at home either and ran out of time at work. I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday, but I'm glad your feeling better today. Don't worry about missing the gym yesterday, you certainly made up for it this morning and will again this evening so good for you! Your doing great, and through all of the stress you resisted giving into temptations!! Thats huge! Good for you! You will be in the 140s by friday for sure, thats so exciting! Your doing amazing, keep up the good work, I can't wait to hear how excited you will be when Friday hits and all of your hard work and resitance for your temptations paid off.
 
Way to go getting so much done last night! You must feel so much better and prepared for everything. It's okay that you skipped the gym to get everything done - I know I told you not to but I underestimated how much you could actually get done in one night! Wonder woman! LOL

Amaaaazing work on the treadmill. You're doing awesome!

And I'm getting really hungry thinking about how delicious that roast is gonna be tonight... YUMMMM!!!

Funny story actually, I called him at lunch to find out how he was making out with the list and he said good which was exciting and then I asked how the roast was making out and he totally forgot! Guess I should have added it to the list after all! I think we are going to have pork chops instead and maybe roast tomorrow!

LOL of course he would forget!!! sheesh. How could a man forget his roast?! lol but hey pork chops, there ya go. Nice lean meat... I'm making pork chops tonight too :) with mixed veggies! MmmmmMmMM

Thank you - I am so glad I skipped the McD's! You could have done it too! When you have lots of determination you can really surprise yourself! I think if I would of had it I wouldn't be doing so good this week.
 
Ok so yesterday was an awesome day - wish they could all be so good!
Here's how it looked:
Exercise - 45 min treadmill (4 miles - switching between 5.5 & 6.0 mph and took two small breaks)
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L- instant regular oatmeal w 1 cup mixed berries, 2 mandarian oranges, 1 cup mint green tea
Snack - s.f choc. pudding cup, 1 oz black forest ham lunch meat
Exercise - 1 hr spinning - 45 min bike, 15 min stretch
D - 3 oz pork chop w onions & garlic, home made yam fries w ketchup, green beans w garlic salt.
Snack - pickle, 1/2 cup tomato & rice soup
I love getting a work out in the morning and evening - I just feel so good at the end of the day!
And for day two in a row I made it the gym this morning! And I did 45 min of the intense Kettle Bell class - I had to skip out early because I had to shower and get ready for work but I still think I'm going to be killer sore from all the squats! My legs are already sore walking up the stairs at work this morning!
Oh my gosh guess what else!!!! My sister won an all inclusive 7 night trip for two to Dominican Republic and she is taking me for my bachelorette!! We are going around the end of January and I'm so pumped!! I don't think any of my other girlfriends will be able to afford it but both my sisters are going so I think we will have a blast because we get along really well! I think this is totally going to keep me motivated during the holidays and after! No slacking allowed for this girl - I have to go bathing suit shopping! Yikes!

Ok so yesterday was a decent day. Had a few extra snacks before bed that werne't planned and definitly weren't needed!
Here's how it looked:
Exercise - 15 min treadmill, 45 min kettle bell class - I am so sore and stiff today from this - it hurts everywhere!
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - life smart brand frozen dinner - chicken primivara
Snack- 2 mandarian oranges
D - 3 oz roast (it was so yummy!), carrots, beans & corn cooked with the roast, veggie salad - mixed greens, shredded carrot, tomato, cucumber, apple, black olives, red onion, red pepper w ff roasted pepper & garlic dressing.
Snacks - 1 kiwi fruit, s.f. choc pudding cup, 2 pieces toast w jam, a couple bites left over spagetti - holly snacks - that's at least another whole meal! I went to bed stuffed and feeling gross - after such a good day I ruined it.
I woke up at 3am soooo sore and really wanted to go to the gym this morning and not knowing what I would be able to do so when my alarm went off at 5:40 I decided to get up and go there no matter how sore I was. I decided to do laps in the pool for half an hour and it was perfect - I couldn't even tell I was sore once I got in the water. I sat in the sauna for 15 min after that and then showered up. Not as crazy of a workout as the other morning but I still want to go to spinning tonight and I can barely walk up the stairs at work so I don't know how that is going to go. Anyway I have lots to do at work today so I will check ya later!

I find they never do a good enough stretch at the end of the classes. Next time maybe try doing a really good 15min stretch on your own after and see if your still so sore.

I'm really nervous for weigh in tomorrow. I cannot seem to break 141 this week. I did get down to 140.6 yesterday, but was back up to 141.0 this morning. I was so sure I would make it... we'll see... in the morning... ;-)

Your workouts honestly amaze me! you are so dedicated to getting up in the mornings and working hard and then doing it all over again in the evenings. Your workouts inspire me to push myself further. Your doing so great and I can not wait to see how your weigh in goes! Good job and good luck!

YES! Good job gettin' to the gym even though you were sore. Swimming must have felt sooo good! I cannot for the life of me do laps for more than 5 minutes - seriously. Props to you!!! Ah and the sauna sounds soo nice. You must have just felt so refreshed after you left!!

Good luck on your weigh in!!! Can't wait to hear how it goes.... but I think I know how it's gonna go already... I gotta feeling there's a "1-4-?" in your future :-D

148.8 Wooo HOOoooo! I am on a high right now! I have never been more proud of myself. I want to go out and celebrate - the healthy way of course ;)! I am now down 25 pounds in total and 75 since my highest! I'm so close to my goal and loving it! My new target is going to be 145 before I leave for Dominican - Jan 14th. I think it is reasonable taking into account the holidays in there. I want to work really hard to achieve this and will!
So yesterday was another awesome day and today I can still barely walk. It's funny because when I am not exercising I'm in pain but as soon as I start exercising the pain goes away and I'm not all stiff and sore.
So here's how yesterday looked:
Exercise - 30 min laps in the pool
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - big veggie salad - same as dinner the night before w ff tomato & oregano dressing
Snack - 3 oz left over roast (needed some protein before spinning and I'm out of protein powder)
Exercise - 1 hr spinning, 55 min bike, 5 min stretch (you are right Marie none of my classes stretch enough at the end and I need to start doing more of my own!)
D - 4 oz chicken breast, no skin bone in w garlic and onions baked w a little raspberry vinegarette & more left over salad.
Snack - 1 point pb bar, 1 kiwi fruit
So I went to bed a little early to start my new book and only got through a couple pages and passed right out because I was tired!
But I made it to the gym this morning for 4 morning in a row! I did 20 min treadmill and 20 min elyptical w some abs and a good stretch. I feel great going into the weekend! Tonight we don't have much planned and then tomorrow morning I'm going to the gym but don't think I could take another kettle bell class just yet - my legs are still so sore. I'll see how I feel tomorrow morning though. Saturday afternoon I am making perogies and spring rolls with some friends to freeze for the holidays. I imagine we will have some wine too. Sunday I don't have much planned so hopefully I will make it to the gym then too!

Oh one more thing that made me feel really good today was I emailed my mom to tell her about my weigh-in and she wrote back that I am setting a great example for our family - this made me feel really good considering all the year's growing up I was the most unhealthy and everyone knew it and talked about it! Now it's the complete opposite and it feels great!

Oh my gosh!!! AWESOME!!! I knew you'd get into the 140's this week :) I'm gonna make you feel even BETTER about yourself and tell you that I'm in the 140's with you!!! LOL you are kicking so much booty with this weight loss and working out. I'm so proud of you for coming so far! And that is really nice about what your mom said... I bet you are so excited for the holiday's to get together with all your family and for everyone to see how amazing you look! You will hit 145 by the middle of January, no doubt about it.

I knew you would do it! Thats SO exciting! All of your hard work is paying off and I couldn't be happier for you! That was really nice of your mom, family's approval can be such a confidence booster. I don't doubt for a second that you will be 145 for your trip and on top of that you will be looking HOT in your vacation wear and bathing suit! Great job!
