Time to stick with it!!

Great start to the week! 11 minutes on the rowing machine?! Awesome! I only do 5 (if I get on it) and I think THAT'S a lot! Ha :) I'm really happy to see that you are starting off strong this week as opposed to last week... I think we are all going to be very proud of ourselves when the weekend arrives!

As soon as I get home from class I'm filling my water bottle up and chugging! LOL

Have a Terrific Tuesday :cheers2:

OH! and I'm gonna tag along with you and see if I can get to the 130's by November 22nd! Why does it seem so close yet soooooo far away?!!? Sheesh. But I want to do this with you!!!

hey there!!!! Great effort getting up for the gym this morning! Tomorrow starts my 2 mornings in a row to get up and do morning gym... lets hope i stick with it!!!!

Great job girl!!!! You will see 140 in NO TIME!!!!

Thanks the last 20 - I go in an hour and I'm nervous because I forgot my shorts and am wearing jeans so that is going to add to the scale big time.
Sarah - nice work moving your goal up - that should really motivate you the next couple weeks - I know it's motivating me, I want out of the 150's for good!
So yesterday was another great day and I felt strong all day. Here's how it went:
Exercise - 10 min treadmill (70cal), 20 min stair master (the kind with the real stairs, 170 cal), abs & back machines, stretch.
B - instant regular oatmeal w 1 cup fresh mixed berries - rasp, blue & blackberries.
L - big veggie salad - mixed greens, green onion, tomato, green grapes, orange pepper, black olives, cucumber w ff tomato orageno dressing
Snack - 2 scoops protein powder w 4 oz ff milk & 5 oz water
Exercise - 1 hr spinning class - 50 min bike, 5 min planks, 5 min stretch
D - same salad as lunch w 4 oz pulled pork shoulder & 1 tsp olive oil & balsamic vinegar. hunnie made the pulled pork shoulder in the slow cooker and made his into sandwiches with bbq sauce. I later looked in the WW book and found out it is the worst kind of pork to have - oh well it was so good!
Snacks - pickle, 6 raspberries (not too bad but I wasn't going to have any)
Total Steps 13040
And I made it to the gym this morning! I'm supposed to have the day off because it's a stat holiday here - Rememberance Day however I have lots to catch up on. But I got to sleep in and go to the gym around 8:30am which is almost 3 hours earlier than I have to go when I have to be at work for 8:00am. I'm going to step away for my weigh-in and then get cracking at some work and then hopefully go home early. I'll be back with my weigh-in update - wish me luck!!

Kick ass week is turning out to be great! I am down 1.2 pounds officially at WW today! Only 1.5 to go before Nov.22nd to reach my goal! I'm aiming to do it by next Wednesday since that is my offical weigh-in date! So I have to continue kicking butt this week and weekend! I'm motivated to do it so here I come!
i found some work out pants in my car so I didn't have to wear my jeans at the weigh-in - I think that made all the difference! I was the exact same as at home this morning so that was good to know too.
Have a great Wednesday everyone!:waving: Tonight's spagetti night and I can't wait!

Yay I'm so happy for you! Great job at your weigh-in. You are doing so amazing this week and I know you can keep it up through the weekend. Keep up the amazing work, you seem to be on a roll! I was looking at the weight watchers website, I'm not on the weight watchers program but I love their food. Do you ever eat their frozen entrees? Also what kind of weight watchers food do they sell at the meetings? I have been thinking of signing up just for the food lol

Thank you, I feel great this week!
They don't sell much WW food in Canada but I do buy the whole wheat bread which is only 1 point for two slices (all other regular bread is between 2-3 points per slice) and their 1 point bars - caramel, peanut butter & choc mint. They sell the bread in any grocery store and I can only get the 1 point bars at the meetings. I have never seen their frozen meals but I bet they are good. My mom is in the US right now and said there is a much bigger selection at Walmart so she is going to start getting stuff there. I wouldn't sign up just for the food because you should be able to get most of it at the grocery stores.

Kick ass week is pretty kick ass!!!!!! :p

Have a great day and enjoy spaghetti night :) mmmmmm!!! :drool5:

I always feel so much better when I stick to my meal and workout plan too, its a good feeling! Thanks for the WW info, I used to eat their bread as well but I moved on to Dempsters Bodywise bread, they are 10 calories less for their 2 slices (90 cals for 2 slices) and cheaper as well. The bars sound good but if they are only thing they sell at the meeting that your right its not worth joining. Plus I am a big fan of special K bars. I do buy their foods at walmart here, their frozen dinners are actually really good! And filling too. Your right the selection is soooo much bigger in the states, I'm going to Texas for 2 weeks in December so I will get my fair share there and bring back what I can.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! WAY TO GO!!!:hurray: So happy for you. Doesn't it feel good to be rewarded for all the hard work. Really makes it seem worth while, and so motivating to continue. Enjoy your speghetti, you've earned it :D

Congratulations on your weigh-in, looks like all your hard work is paying off splendidly. Good job!!!

~ Mav

PS: Now I want spaghetti. :p

Thanks everyone for your support - you are really helping me through this. I really don't think I would be doing nearly as good without this diary thing. I look forward to posting my updates everyday and seeing how everyone is doing. I get so sad when someone goes a day or two without posting because I start to think they won't come back or aren't doing good so they don't want to post. I guess I don't post all weekend so I can't judge - people are busy and have lives too.
Anyway yesterday was a good day - not amazing but good. Here's how it looked:
B- ff yogurt & all bran buds
Exercise - 40 min treadmill (3.25 miles, 400 cal), abs, back, side machines, some sitting abs and stretch.
Snack - 1 cup mint green tea (didn't want to drink too much before the weigh-in and I had lots of water at the gym)
L - big veggie salad - same as last night's dinner without the pork & ff dressing
Snack - 1 point PB bar
Exercise - 1 hr aerobics class (I hadn't been since joining the gym and everyone was asking me if I went somewhere hot - I wish.) We did 35 min basic aerobics and 12lb body bar, 25 min strength & stretching. It wasn't nearly as intense of a workout as the classes at the gym but it was a good change and nice to get some good stretching in.
Snack - 1/2 cup raspberries
D - 2 cups SMART spagetti (I only planned on having 1 cup but it was soooo good I had to go back for more) w home made sauce - onions, peppers, garlic, whole canned tomatoes, lean ground chicken, lean turkey sausages, 1 can tomato basil spagetti sauce.
Snack - 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread w PB & jam
Forgot my pedometer and now I think I left it at the gym this morning :(
So my workout and water were good but I had a big snack after a big dinner! I woke up hungry which was crazy..and went the gym for the third morning in a row!!! I didn't even think twice about it! Today is going to be a good day and no snacks after dinner - ok this might be too hard for me especially after spinning tonight! Small snacks if anything!
Have an awesome Thursday everyone! TGIF tomorrow!!!:hurray::hurray: This week is going by faster than any!

:iagree: I always look forward to hearing from everyone and checking on everyone! I do get upset when I see people haven't posted in a while because I feel like they have given up. I noticed Alta hasn't posted at all lately but yesterday she did saying that she has been extremely sick... it was good to hear from her to know she's still around!

Way to go on the morning work outs!!! :) I don't know what it is but it has been sooooo hard for me to wake up lately! It was really easy in the beginning but now I have to force myself to get up, I used to just get up and go no problem!!! Anyway... have a great workout tonight :) And DO snack after your workout... your body is gonna want something! So treat yourself right and do it the healthy way :D We've had a great week here, we're almost to the weekend now so let's finish out strong!!!

TTYL!

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I can't believe it's already Friday - this week went by so fast! I found out my hunnie has to go out of town for work on Wednesday for two weeks and is going to be gone for his birthday :( The only good thing about him being gone is I eat way healthier and not as many snacks - plus the weekends are pretty mellow. I'm going to miss him so much though and sad we can't do something on his birthday. I'm going to try and make this weekend really fun and spend lots of time with him.
Ok so yesterday was good again but not great on the snacks at night :( here's how it looked:
Exercise - 5 min treadmill, 20 min cross trainer, abs, back, side, shoulders, bicep and more back machines, abs on the mat & stretch
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup fresh mixed blueberries & blackberries
Snack - 2 scoops protein powder w 4 oz ff milk & 6 oz water
Exercise - 1 hr spinning class - 55 min bike, 5 min stretch - this was a killer! I love spinning! I can really feel my core getting stronger from it and I'm getting faster at sprinting. Also instead of dripping sweat after the first song it now takes until the third song for the sweat to start dripping so I think my endurance is getting better.
D - small whole wheat tortilla pizza w left over spagetti sauce, green olives & small amount graded cheese. Big veggie salad w mixed greens, tomato, blueberries, cucumber, red pepper, red onion, pear, 2 oz pork shoulder left overs shredded, olive oil & balsamic vinegar. This was filling and should have been it for the night
:reddevil: arrives.....
Snacks - 1 full bag microwave popcorn, 1 pudding cup-not even the sugar free kind.
So it wasn't horrible but I was over my daily points for the day and went to bed feeling full:ack2:
Lost my pedometer too so that sucks - I was going to ask at the gym today or check the lost and found but I forgot - but...I did make it to the gym today and beat a record on the treadmill. I did 3 min warmup and then jogged at 5.5 mph for 15 min and 5.6 mph for 20 min straight! 35 min of not stopping was a record forsure! I did 40 min altogether which was 3.55 miles & 450 cals - so I'm feeling good today! Even though my eating hasn't been perfect, I have been really pushing it at the gym this week so I hope it results in a loss next week! We'll have to wait and see how the weekend goes - I plan to go to that crazy Kettle Bell class again tomorrow morning and hope it doesn't do the same damage as last time. Might make it for a swim Sunday not too sure yet but I won't be sitting on my bum! Plus the house could use some serious cleaning so that will be a good workout too.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll check back with you on Monday!
:seeya:

Hey there!!! Nice workouts girl!!! You got it goin on!!! :)

bummer about your hunnie being gone over your bday..... that will mean you will celebrate extra special when he gets back!!!!

bow chica bow wow.... hehehehe :blush5:

looks like you and i get the snackies :) Keep up the healthy eating woman!!!! You are doing great!

Hey have you checked out the 94% fat free mini bag single serving microwave popcorn that Orville Redenbacher makes? They are the BOMB for a popcorn craving.

I am having night snacking issues too. I think it's that whole winter hibernation thing. What to do, what to do?

Good job on eating and gym. Keep up the hard work!!

That is AMAZING!!! You are running faster and longer than I was when I started running. Great work!!!! No doubt about it, you can totally do a half marathon in the Spring :D

Sorry to hear that your hunnie is leaving you for 2 weeks :( That will be no fun!!! But stay positive and take this time and use it for YOU. I think it will be really refreshing that you will be able to focus on just yourself for a little while :)

Have a great weekend!!!

It's his birthday he'll be gone for and I was planning a party with his friends so now I'll have to cancel - might see if everyone is free this weekend to celebrate - not too much celebrating though - I want to be in the 140's next week!
