Thanks for coming by friends and offering your support with the texting. Looking forward to him coming home tonight and talking to him face to face again. Even our phone calls have been short because he's always with his co-workers and it's hard to really talk with other people around. Not that we have anything important to talk about but I just miss his company.

I get to move my ticker down again!! I weighed in at 147.2 this morning! So pumped and totally motivated to keep going. I’m feeling great.

Not much planned for this weekend. I plan to finish today out strong by going to the gym after work and cooking a healthy dinner for hubby’s return. We’ll probably rent a movie or two and spend the night on the couch. Tomorrow I plan to continue my spring cleaning. Last weekend I cleaned for 5 hours straight and I still have a lot to do to get rid of all the dust and pack up some stuff for my sister in laws yard sale. Tomorrow night we are going out with some friends so I plan to indulge in a couple drinks. We are going to a fundraiser for a couple’s wedding and there will be dancing so I’m looking forward to shaking my booty on the dance floor. Sunday will probably be a rest day as it usually is after a late night out.
Here’s how yesterday looked:
B – 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/3 cup all bran buds, 1 ff activia yogurt, peppermint tea
Snack – peppermint tea
L - lettuce, green onion, red pepper, yellow pepper, black olives, celery, cucumber, dried cranberries & walnut mix (just a sprinkle), 1 can tuna drained in water, ff tomato, oregano dressing.
Exercise – 15 min power walk to post office (we normally get the mail lady to pick up our mail in the office but I have been volunteering to drop it off lately!)
Snack – apple
Exercise – 50 min treadmill – 4 miles (intervals of 5min running & 5 min steep incline), 58 squats and press ups (8lb dumbbells), 48 R & 48 L punch (8lb dumbbells), 20 walking out push-ups – I did intervals of these three exercises. 5 min various abs, stretch – 70 min, 750 calories burned.
D – garlic, pesto tortilla wrap, 3 ounces thin sliced turkey breast, lettuce, 6 thin slices cheddar cheese, pepper, mustard – made into a wrap.
Snack – s.f. butterscotch pudding – jello brand.
I’m really proud of myself this week because I’m only usually really motivated when there is a special occasion coming up or an event and besides trying to get pregnant in a few months there is nothing. I haven’t signed back up to WW either and if I can continue to do it on my own I’m not going to. I really feel like I have nothing stopping me from getting to my goal. I am going to flip the day I see 139 on the scale – I can’t even imagine the feeling. I’m going to get there though – I just know it!! If I can loose 1 pound a week for the next 7 weeks that will bring me up to the time that I want to start trying and to be honest I don’t imagine getting pregnant in the first few tries – it could take a year or years or who knows I might not even be able to have kids. But getting to my goal is really going to help with whatever happens.
