Time to start fresh

Hi everyone,
I am just starting over in here as I have been away from the forum for a very! long time. I am looking forward to people's opinions on what I post regarding my progress, stumbling blocks, successes and at times self sabotages. Yes I admit that there Are times when I need a swift kick in the ass, but I am really trying to work through all that. I am presently going to curves and I am also walking as much as I can. My husband has been very supportive and helps me out where he can .
I am presently 284 lbs...when I got married 3 years ago I was 317lbs... So I'm down a little but not as much as I'd like to be. At least I am heading in the right direction... Lol

Today was a bit of a gong show.... As I stayed up too late.... And then of course woke up late and then rush, rush, rush. All my plans for a balanced meal for breakfast flew out the window. My lunch was made the night before so at least that was out of the equation. I think from now on when I make my lunch... I will also prep my breakfast so that if I do need to run... I can start my day off better.

Wow you have lost alot, great job! I think you are doing well, most people gain weight when they marry. Good on you and you are indeed going in the right direction =)

lol i think everyone needs a good push in the right direction sometimes so dont worry, you are not alone on that one ;) Curves is a good addition and walking is a great enjoyable and light exercise, maybe listen to music when doing so too, that really make its enjoyable my time for myself. Good to hear you have a support from your husband, while this forum is great, person to person support is really encouraging and also if its family it enables you to strive harder.

Thanks very much nisha for your comment...I appreciate your input... Music is a good idea...I have not done that when I'm walking, but I'm sure it would help time go faster... If I'm left to my own thoughts... I tend to try to where and deal myself out of exercise... Lol
 
So I am presently on Vacation...and although I've done lots of walking... I have been having a bit too much sugar... I'm not going to allow the word 'vacation' mean downward spiral. Man it's easy to spin out of control!
 
Day 12 of being at friends on vacation. I have made some great choices and poor ones. But we are doing lots of walking which is great.
