My first post on the forums, and decided to use it by starting my diary. A lot of people here are very good inspiration. I thought having a way to document my success would be a good way to keep motivated as i struggle to once again lose weight. Since i was young its always been a struggle. Ive made this journey from fat and out of shape to skinny and healthy 3 times now. Every time saying it would be the last and, aint life grand, here i am once again.
Right now im not the heaviest ive ever been, but not far from it at 218. If i had to put a number on my goal it would be 160's but i just want to generally get my life back on track. Ive been pretty miserable for a while, so its time to make that change again. This aint my first rodeo, so im going to stick to whats worked for me in the past. No junk, 4 to 5 average means a day, and putting on my shoes and hitting the streets. Looking forward to making progress, more soon...

Welcome! You've made a wise choice in getting your weight and health under control! Walking/running rule, IMHO. It is very important to get enough calories, check out fitday.com for keeping track (for free). Do you have a real plan to stick to?
