Time to get Serious

Today was a really good day. I got 2 miles on the treadmill this morning, 2 mile walk at lunch, and a 3 mile walk after work. I am really making a dent in the weight loss and I'm feeling great about it. I can't believe how loose my clothes are. I have lost over 35lbs and I feel better then I have in a long time. I have also eaten... err drank more veggies this past month then I did in the last 2 years! I got more KLB-5 tablets since it is part of what I am doing and I can't say they don't work.

I plan to continue the same regiment next month doing what I have done this past month. I will up the walking mileage steadily if weather and time permit.

Breakfast was a banana and 2 KLB-5 capsules.

Lunch was a Ninja shake with the following:
7 Blackberry's
1 Tesoro tomato
1/3 Cucumber
1/3 Zucchini
Handful of baby Kale
1 small apple
1 small orange
Water to liquify it - came out to 28 oz's in the end.

Dinner was 2 KLB-5 capsules, Pinto beans, 3 types of Salsa (all natural), 6 oz grilled chicken breast (weighed it), slices of yellow onion and some jalapeno slices.

I hope everyone is doing great and keep at it!

I really should try and update this more often. I've been real busy lately and we had a snow storm that put our city on hold for a day or so.

Anyway, I have been sticking to my diet. I have changed to having a banana for breakfast lately just because it is quick. Lunch has been a Ninja shake or an all veggie salad. My wife made some low cal Lentil soup that is really good and I had that for lunch also. Dinner has been grilled chicken slices in salad or in Pinto beans. I did have fish a with Pinto beans also. No "cheat days" as my wife calls them and nothing but healthy food. The 4 beers I have in my work area sure look good but I look at them and laugh!

I have been walking about 3 miles a day and doing the treadmill and a little stationary bike at night. I am really seeing and feeling the difference this makes. I am trying to do everything the right way and resisting anything that doesn't have a positive impact on my diet. I just don't want to have to do a day over again if that makes sense.

Well, I wish everyone success and keep up the hard work!

Well another 5 days have past and I'm sticking to my plan. I have been having a banana for breakfast, my Ninja veggie drink for lunch, and either grilled or Nu-Waved skinless / boneless chick breast or grilled fish filets, Pinto Beans and all natural Salsa for dinner. I have had hot air popped popcorn with 0 calorie imitation butter spray twice. I have started riding my bicycle when weather permits, and in 3 days of riding I have gone 48 miles. I am still walking and taking the KLB-5 generic tablets. No cheat days so far.

I weighed myself last Monday and next week I expect to be below 200 LBS. I haven't weighed what I weigh now in over 2 years! I haven't felt as energetic as I do now in about the same amount of time.

I am going thru my veggie supply like I have a rabbit farm! I have been going to the store every 2 or 3 days and just grabbing veggies. I just smell them, if they are fresh and aren't over powering, they'll end up in a Ninja drink in short order.

This Super Bowl was the first time I haven't had an adult beverage and lots of fried food. I had boiled Shrimp, baked sliced up red potatoes with 0 calorie seasoning, and a nice grilled fish filet. I had my diet 0 calorie green tea, which is my favorite non adult beverage drink.

I wish everyone continued success, and best wishes!

I am officially below 200lbs!!! I weighed in at 190 LBS this morning. I have been bicycling and walking and eating good. I have been backing off on the Ninja shakes a bit and eating a banana for breakfast, veggie salads without meat for lunch, grilled chicken and / or fish with pinto beans, baked potatoes, and salsa for dinner. With the cycling and more walking, I really needed to eat more since I was burning a lot more calories. I expect to be at 185 LBS or better next Monday. I am still taking the KLB-5 generic capsules at breakfast and dinner. I can't believe how well this has been going. I have not had a cheat day yet, and since I am so close to my goal, I don't plan on one. I have not felt this good in such a long time, I forgot how good it feels to feel good!

I wish everyone continued success, and best wishes!

I hit 180LBS a while ago. No cheat days which I think are BS. Cheat days are a built in excuse for a quitter. If you really want to loose weight, you do what needs to be done, suffer for a minute, rejoice fore a while!

Awesome job Gdude! That's your goal weight huh? Do you have a plan for maintaining your goal weight? It looks like your making a good exercise habit too. Keep it up!
