You look like your in good shape, only need to work on your stomach. Do you drink beer? I ask because that often happens to beer drinkers. The rest of their body is okay and the beer goes to the belly only.

No, actually I dont drink at all.. Thats all eating out fast food and eating late. I have changed my eating habits and started working out. I hope I can keep this up. Thanks for the compliment.

My tummy used to look like yours.....now.....wait......my tummy was bigger! No joke. But, I did drink a lot of beer. My tummy is now pretty flat after 5 and a half months of hard work. Your tummy will be like that too soon, just stick at it! The outcome is wonderful and it really makes you feel good about yourself.

Good luck!

Btw, I agree with the above poster, the rest of your body looks ok, it seems to be your mid-section that is your problem area.

ok thank you,

I have changed my way of eating to at breakfast I eat a bowl of special K with slices of Bananna,Snack Nuti grain bar, lunch today im having a tuna sandwich with no mayo...Not sure what's for dinner yet. I also stop eating after 7pm. I just activated my LA fitness account. I will be going to the gym today. :) I will have picture 2 weeks from the day I started the thread to see if any weight was lost. Wish me luck guys and good luck to you all.:cheers2:

Good luck to you!!!
Another question for you is 'are you lactose intolerant'?
Alot of people of African descent are, and may not know. I am an African American female and only realized my lactose intolerance a few years ago.
When I try to avoid any dairy products for a week, I notice a big difference in my mid section. But I love cheese, and drink coffee with cream daily, so I see my stomach bulge out again easily from it.

Good for you for posting your B4 pics - soon you won't believe the change! If you've changed your diet, eat less junk and make your food choices count, and get daily exercise that makes you sweat, YOU WILL DROP THE EXTRA POUNDS!

So keep at it, and best wishes on your journey! I look forward to watching your progress.

Thanks a lot...My fiance even joined in eating healthy with me..She already lost 3 pounds and looks great!!!I can't wait to see the new us :)

I'm not sure if I am. I never had a problem when it came to dairy products.

Ironically enough, you don't need to have pain to be considered lactose intolerant. Sometimes its things like making you retain water (which is an allergic reaction believe it or not) or distending your stomach (another allergic reaction) that might be signs of you being lactose intolerant. Almost ALL adults are actually mildly lactose intolerant due to it being a genetically coded thing for babies. There are tribes in Africa with adults (evolution at its finest) that have the genes that process the lactose molecule (lactase is the protein that does it). Some have lactase proteins that break down goat milk rather than cow milk, however, most adults lose it due to the fact its just not needed anymore and the body doesn't need to produce lactase. Amazing machines the bodies are.
