Hi :waving:

I'm Becka and I live in the Whitsundays in QLD Australia and I am 28 years old.I have never really struggled with my weight i was always really skinny and very active growing up.3 years ago i gave birth to my first child and i didn't really get that big during the pregnancy bub was only very tiny.About 6 months after the birth i lost my mother to cancer and that's when i started to not look after myself properly and it's where i put on the weight.I would love to get back to my healthier ways so i can be a good role model for my daughter.

I am up to day 3 of my change and I am feeling great after my exercises i have been doing.

I am also helping out my sister in law who wants to change aswell and together we will achieve our goals

I am so, so sorry for your mother, I actually know what it is to lose a very close person to the cancer. This is very nice and responsible of you of wanting to change for your daughter.

I am sure you will achieve your goal!:waving:

Welcome to our forum! Nice people here! I look forward to reading of your progress. So what is your plan? Everyone needs a plan.

Hey Becka and welcome! Fellow neighbour here, NSW =) and 27 this year. I’m sorry to hear about your loss, I lost my father to cancer when I was 7...it’s alright because life goes on.

On a lighter note, that’s great you have implemented changes which make you feel great and means you’re on the road to success. Just keep at it! You have a buddy to achieve goals together with which must really be a real motivator, I’m sure you will do great =)

All the best!!

Wow what a fail that was..Stopped doing everything but this time is the time to do it and i have the motivation this time

Nobody loses weight without experiencing a fail from time to time. I've had my fair share of fails over the years, but as long as I keep fighting and pushing forward after I fall down, that's all that matters. Just because you fail doesn't mean you're a failure. Keep fighting. We're all here for you.
