Time Taken per Section in Gym

how long is a good amount of time to spend on one muscle group

for example, for triceps and chest i do 3 x 12 bench press, 3 x 12 flies, 3 x lifting weight over head whilst laying down, 3 x dips off the bench, 3 x lie down on back, lift for-arm to work tri.

each section can take about half hour, but sometimes up to 45 mins to make sure im getting enough, is this about right? id love to minimise gym time so im not wasting my nights!

How ever long it takes as long as u get ur rest inbetween sets its all on you i wait 90-120 secs tho MAX120 secs for me i think otherwise ur just stalling.

Is this the amount of time you spend in the gym per workout? If so then that is pretty good.
 
I read somewhere a good quote for this. Its not the amount of time you put in the gym, its the amount of work you put in the time...Something like that heh.
