Time for Change - Before and In-between!

Hi All,


Sheesh, is it really April already? My gosh this year is flying by, which is worrying for me really as for the last four months my weight has plateaued. I joined the site back in May last year with the ambition to lose around 30 - 40 pounds. I started off at 211.5 pounds and as of 10:00am this morning, I am 185 pounds, which I am pretty chuffed with. My goal weight back in 2011 was 177 pounds, so I've almost made the 30 pounds marker. If i'm honest throughout 2012, although I have still wanted to lose weight, I haven't actually put much effort it, which may explain why my weight has remained so stable.


From now on I really need to up-the-anti. I've decided that if I regularly post pictures of myself, when I have lost weight, or even *gulps* if I have gained a little, it will serve as a reminder of what I really want to achieve!


Unfortunately, I only used the site in 2011 for just a few weeks, I had few big changes in my life that I had to adapt to and the forums got cast to the back of my mind. However, I found that they really helped. Reading people's diaries and listening to advice really spurred me on. So I'm back again, hoping it will do the same in 2012. I'm a bit of a chatterbox and am looking forward to meeting new people!

To be honest, I think you looked great at 211 when you started, but wow, the difference is immense and really noticeable and you look great at 185 as well.


My weight jumped around as well during my efforts to lose it, so it's totally normal, as long as the motivation's still there. Hope that everything is fine now (regarding the big changes you mentioned) and you're happy.


Kudos to you again and best wishes for the future, looking forward to reading more about your progress.
 
Hi Guys,


Just thought I'd post a quickie update. I'm down to 172 pounds now, just half a pound off the 40 pound mark! Woohoo! I've surpassed my original goal of 177 pounds but still feel like I need to lose a little more weight and most definitely tone-up. I have way too many jiggly bits! So, the new goal is 161 pounds. I'm hoping to reach this by mid-August.

What was your highest weight and biggest dress size? What size are you wearing now?
