Yesterday:
cals: 1900
exercise: 15 minutes of lifting weights
5 minutes on the recumbant bike
35 minutes on the elliptical

I am doing a personal six week challenge. That spring challenge we did with Mal really motivated me to chunk up the time into smaller goals. I am in the first week and will weigh-in on Monday. I am hoping to lose at least 10lbs during this six weeks, but would settle for 8.

*I posted that so I could be accountable for it here, too.*
 
Yeah I know about not being around much. I think this week I've just mentally checked out.

Exactly, Ashy. I am just slammed with stuff to do right now. Plus I think I am getting a little burned out on talking about weight loss. I need a mental breather. I have not fallen off the wagon and am still steadily losing weight, but I think I have come off that initial "excitement high" I get when I firs start doing something. Plus there's college now, and blah blah blah blah blah.....did I bore anyone to death yet? lol

I will still be around, but there are a few things in my "real" life that are taking up most of my free time for now.

Today is measurment taking day, so I will be back to post those results. Wish me luck!

Well, I am having to sneak in time to come post. Forgive me for not dropping by all of your diaries for now. I just had something that I HAD to share.

When I started this journey, I wore a jeans size 20wide and a top size 2X or 3X. Well, I went clothes shopping yesterday and bought capris in a size 16medium! And tops in a 1X!:eek2: How great is that!??!

Oh and for my measurements, I was down at least another half inch from last month.

I hope you all are doing wonderfully and are very happy! Maybe when some of the summer activities slow down, I will have more time to spend here. Don't forget about me!

Excellent!!! That Elliptical rocks man - it is awesome they literally shrink you...

Thanks for checking on me, Kim. I am great and still losing weight. The summer is just such a busy time. And with my classes, well, you get the idea. I am not gone forever and I check-up on all of you a few times a week. I guess I should just start saying hi more.

Anyways- Today's weigh-in: 223
I have been slacking alittle on organized exercise, but have been doing a ton of yardwork and outside things like that. Apparently it is working because I am still losing.

Hopefully, I can get more active here again soon, too.

It's nice to see your still around and Losing weight, AWESOME JOB!! You must be rocking on the gardening, because you've lost over 30lbs all ready in less than 3 months right?? Damn, that's good!! I'm in the losing inches and no weight stage at the moment, but I'm hoping that will all change this week. I'll check in on you soon. Take Care!

Yardwork/housework is definitely a workout!! Keep up the great work!! Sounds like you're doing well - it's hard to do organized exercise in the summer - there are so many other things to do! lol
 
Exactly! But I am committed to organized work outs at least three times a week. Welps, I was going to "visit" everyone before the kids woke up, but too late. Here comes one now.

Today's weigh-in: 222

Just 12 more pounds and I will be back to where I was right after my first baby was born in 2003! It feels so great to be getting so close. It inspires me to work even harder.

This morning's weigh-in: 220! I have lost 40 pounds!!:eek2:

Monday is my official weigh-in day, but I usually weigh everyday. Wouldn't it be great to be in the two-teens by then! Our church is going to the zoo tomorrow, so maybe I can really walk-off some extra cals.

I still have 70 pounds to lose, but I think 40 is quite a milestone. If I can lose 40 pounds, then I can lose the whole 110.

I am going on vacation in six weeks to meet some friends that I have only known on-line and over the phone for the last 6 years. I would love to lose as much as I can by then. Not that I am going to crash diet or anything. I just think I can use the visit as motivation to keep me really dedicated.

Now I am off to take my measurements. I do this once a month.

That is cool abt the friends online and phone thing - must be exciting!!! Ive met a cpl of gals from here and they are great !!!
