*Tiffany*'s Diary

Awww...maybe you should set one or two days a week where you allow yourself a can of pepsi, then you can avoid drinking it, knowing that you can have one in a day or two?? I did that with coffee when I was weaning myself off, and it seemed to work (I was allowed coffee Mondays and Thursdays).

Don't stress too much about it, what's done is done. I've had 3 rough days in a row of junky restaurant food and beer...

Today is a fresh start for both! We'll kick eachother into gear ;)

Tiffy, Tiffy, Tiffy, Girlfriend, your my roll model, what are you doing to me. lOL LMAO!! your fine, don't worry about one darn day, it's not going to hurt you, but what I suggest, is drinking EXTRA amounts of water today to make up for the extra soda from yesterday. Mrs. Thang, don't make me come down there and get you, because you know I will!!! Your doing wonderful, and we all need so called "splurge" days, we are entitled to at least one a week, I do hear that others do 2 days. Plus all the workouts your doing, will counter out those extra calories. Did you get that new scale yet?????? You can get a decent one from Targe'. I'll be thinking about you today, so post later and let me know you had that extra water, so I can sleep tonight.
~~Great Hugs, for my Tx friend~~;)

WARNING: Whiney and annoying self vent ahead....

What in the world is the matter with you??! Do you know what you did today?? You drank FOUR cans of regular Pepsi! FOUR! You have been busting my butt on the elliptical and you were so stressed out about having gained pounds back. THEN- you weighed this morning and was back down to where you were last Monday and what did you do?? Drank Pepsi. YEAH-that makes sense, Tiffany. UGH....now the sugar has me feeling ill and the guilt doesn't feel so hot either. Get your act together--or else.

I told y'all that it was a self vent and that it was whiney. Now I can get back to being chipper. Tomorrow is a new day....again.:D

ooohhh dont be so hard on yourself...old habits are hard to break...so you drank pop all day - well just drink water all day tomorrow...I ate raw cookie dough lol and did something else bad...i need to get on track - lets do something togetther lol...see who can eat the healthiest or something...

Im sorry Im pretty tired right now and seem not be very encouraging - im sorry your beatin yourself up but you just gotta start fresh again :):):)

Thanks, all. I am doing much better. I just needed to get that vent "out there", ya know. I am not going to let one day cause me to quit or backslide. Back on the ball today, and YES-I've had more water today:)

It was just so weird because I have not even been tempted by Coke or Pepsi, but out of nowhere, I just guzzled them...for no reason other than they were there. I just don't get it. ANYWAY- moving on and moving upward.

Kim, I can't imagine being a weight loss role model, but maybe thinking that I am will make me feel more responsible;) Thanks.

So far today, I am WAY under cals. I am sure I can stand to forsake a few cals to off set yesterday.

Talk to you all soon...gotta get ready for church.

Awww Thanks for your sweet words. My mother had to retire due to health issues six years ago & the work-a-holic she is she couldn't just rest... so she learned to quilt , which was always a dream of hers. In an effort to connect with her (since she has become obsessed) I learned to help some & found out its kinda fun. She makes quilts for a children's charity & as gifts, but mine are few & far between since I work & I have kept all so far. I tend to enjoy making bags since they are fast & I like instant (well almost) gratification. It can be addictive but the good side is it keeps your hands busy (mine off the junk food) & concentrating on something (other than thinking about food). :)

My best suggestion to learning is to go to a quilt store & just wander the aisle for fabric that inspires. While you are looking, no doubt someone will approach & wonder what you are working on & offer more advice than you could ever take in at one time. If you are lucky you will learn about a class at the shop, most offer them. They can get you started. Simple is best. I just started sewing 5" blocks of scraps together (using a 1/4" seam) until it was big enough to make me happy. My rule is it has to make me happy. This irks my mom who wants perfection in everything, but I say if it were perfect how would anyone know it was handmade?

Good luck, with the weight loss & learning a new talent. Just take it slow.

Glad to meet you! :)

Im glad to hear you are in better spirits:):):)

Well, I rode my elliptical for an hour again tonight. I actually enjoyed it and I think if I only do that once in a while it should be fine. At least I feel like I redeemed myself from the other day. I have to lose a pound this week to meet my spring challenge goal.

I haven't lifted weights in a few days, so that is my goal for tomorrow.(or today since it is after midnight. I also think I am going to do my yoga/pilates video in the morning instead of riding the machine.

I wish someone was on Yahoo, I really feel like chatting. Oh well, I better get to bed...my day starts at five a.m.

yea - go and get some sleep hun. research has shown that people who get more sleep lose weight more effectively than those tho deprive their bodies of the 8hrs needed. well done for kicking ass on the eliptical - hop to see that pound gone by the end of this week :D

Morning Tif,
I'm sure you will lose that pound "NO SWEAT" okay, maybe with a little sweat, but you'll do it nontheless. I'm proud of you getting on that elliptical and trucking for an hour. OH YEAH!! That's great work. I bought a pilates/yoga tape before I joined the gym and I had a hard time with it, it just didn't make sense to me, and now that I took the class at the gym, it's so much easier. I hope it works good for you, let me know what you think. :) I don't have Yahoo, but I'm on AIM, if you have that. Let me know!! Have a great day today!!
~Hugs~

Hey Tiffany! Haven't seen you around in a few days! Hope you're doing okay!! Drinking lots of water...and hoping you'll come back soon, I need someone to keep me in line ;)

~Nicole~

Thanks for checking on me...makes me feel special:D I've been super, super busy for the last few days and I am not done yet. Prolly by Monday or Tuesday I will be back on more regularly.

Nope, I am not falling off the wagon....I think I kicking the wagons BUTT thought! I have been hauling it on my exercise and doing good on my food intake. I am so afraid to get on the scale because I have worked so hard and I know I will be MEGA discouraged if I do not see a loss this week.

Well, responsibility calls. I will see you all soon. Sorry, no time for me to visit diaries right now.

AHHHH, you are super special!!! And home duties come first, so we all understand that you don't have a lot of time to read everyone's diary. I'm happy to hear however that your still rocking on your exercises and your eating. I'm sure you will see some sort of decrease. DON'T beat yourself up if you don't remember when I posted on Monday I was up a few pounds, well I weighed in this morning and I'm back down those pounds. Soooo, don't sweat it!! Just keep going strong, soon you will see more than weight loss, you'll be buying new clothes. OH YEAH!!! :D
Kim

Hey! Great to hear you're still kickin' it!! I know what you mean about working hard and being afraid of the scale! lol, but either way, you're doing a great job towards a healthier you!

~Nic~

I know what you mean about being busy Tiffany! Finals week is final OVER! It must be nice to own an elliptical. Those machines are so great on your joints and burn a lot of calories while you're watching the tube.
