ok not such a great day yesterday.
was ok until we had guests for dinner. After dinner the cheese and crackers came out - that was "ok" i can live with that.
But then i tried putting the cat in the rumpus room at the other end of the house and she went mental for some time so i went to move her into the garage which she prefers and got mega scratched and ended up in an argument with husband.
Stupid me went straight to the chippie packet and hot chocolate whilst covering the cat scrtatches (did i mention im allergic to cats? even on antihistamines scratches = welts!).
So i was pissed off, and ended up eating too much.
Walking up the stairs at work today was suck too still, as my legs feel ready to give out. Im tired and run down a bit i think. Today is weights day, i may do some easy cycling at the gum for a short while but im definatly taking tomorrow off. and probably thursday also.
Im debating bowing out of the 30lb challenge based on how run down i am atm, but ill see how i feel in a couple of days.
 
Listen to your body. You have done an amazing job and hate to see you sidetracked by pushing yourself on a challange. Slow and steady wins the race.

meh im forever battling my hunger.
I can eat, and then be hungry within an hour again. For the last month ive found some tablets which help slow down digestion from the stomach, but i ran out and today went mega bingeing until i picked some up.
Seriously. after last nights chips.

Muesli + yog for breaky,
Coffee
an hour later hungry so salad, then lunch again another hour or so again of beef strog (only small amount though).
Then husband went and got lunch and got me fried veg and meat which i ate 1/3.
But the entire time ive eaten all this food before 1pm ive been starved for most of the time.
Finally got my pills, took one, then because i was so starving bough an afghan (i was veged out by this time)
I mean im making the healthy options, but even if you eat cuploads of vegetables it all adds up on calories.
So i have leftover veg and meat now and some beef strog for my daughter when she gets home. Finally im feeling a little more 'full'.
 
hm i do have stronger appetite when i have allergic reactions so it could be that also. or just a phase. i call them eating episodes lol.

i also find that when i have episodes like this it is better for me to have caloric meals that day. i don't know...i just sometimes feel like my body wants something...it is not so much the usual 'craving' for eating, it is the sense of 'i'm starving'.

and usually these episodes for me last for two, maximum three days. it is warm where you are and your body is using more and has bigger needs for relaxation and food. maybe you just have to slow down the pace for a few days :).
 
Hmm... reading what you ate yesterday makes me hungry! Yum!
Don't worry one bad day (or two, or a week) mean nothing, get back to health, teach that cat some manners, and eat better tomorrow!

well i think i added up to 2500-3000 calories for the day yesterday.
Probably more than i used in the day anyway! Mega suck, possibly overtired as well, i dunno

Today i have my drugs . ... mmm drugs. Im gonna go to the doctor because i dont want to live the rest of my life like this its insane. And i notice my older daughter is the same also with insane hunger. Least im eating the right foods now..

Yay! in the local paper! they got a few numbers wrong but its generally right :)
 
Feeling better today, still another day of no exercise. Gym and weights tomorrow and probably cycling.

Saturday morning im gonna go for another longer bike ride, and sunday daughter has horse riding competition apparently. Unsure what time it is though, just that its sunday sometime :O
 
I just went to your web page and read your story. Very inspiring! And great advice. I love that you put everything down in black and white, matter-of-factly for FREE. So many people think you have to spend money to get good advice. Oh, and congrats on the story. You're quite the media magnet with all of your accomplishments...
 
up till late last night with the work xmas party. This year both hubby and I work together so we dont need to do 2 which is good. The diet eating was fine, it was afterwards when i hit the pub and dug into wedges. Then got home and ate 2 slices toast and muesli bar afterwards.
ENded up in bed at like 1:30am so no 6am starts and cycling today. I have a gym appt to do weights today, and ill head out and do 100km cycling tomorrow morning.

Yeah, FREE is the key word. people make out it to be some huge secret.

hehe welll plans changed and friday gym session didnt happen, friend turned up to visit friday instead of the gym. then becuse we talked till late waiting for her husband (who ended up not coming) we went to bed at 1-2am.
So that meant not getting up at 5am for a bike ride. So up at 7am making breaky then horse riding with daughter. I got a 30 min walk in whilst she rode plus general walking. Then i had to hit shops. So i when i got home t 3:40 in the arvo i had to put dinner on, then flopped on the couch so tired i fell asleep.
To many late nights :O
I woke up couple hours later and the meat was cooked but id slept through putting any veg etc on. Husband clicked and went and got some hot chips from up the road. Tomorrow my daughter has horse riding comp so i wont be riding in the orning. I may get in a ride in the arvo POSSIBLY which will be great.
Then tomorrow night is some Xmas in the Park thing, involving singers and free concert for many hours and a finale of fireworks :D

So yeah, dont expect me online, just a bit busy! :D
Eating has been so-so over the last few days.
 
Congrats on the article. And well deserved. That gave me major tingles. I'm just serious. We've always known you're incredible, so this is great that your amazing journey gets told to the masses other than here.

I wish you could see the smile on my face right now. It's huge. I'm so very proud of you.

Breif drop in. Todays eating was so-so. Its gonna head downhill tonight though with mega party. Not totally fussed or caring right now. I think im gonna pull from the 30lb challenge temporarily until after xmas. So fricken busy aye.
Daughter got 2 4th place ribbons today in her horse riding comp. I got $20 cash out before we went out, but forgot to take it with me. So lunch was a begged sausage because i didnt have the $1.50 for one, and by the time we got home i bought a bunch of junk food to throw in the bag to take down to the park later for the xmas in the park party.
So planned diet breaker really, but all in fun :)

Brilliant newspaper article - love how your community holds you up to inspire good health in others! Great job. But omg, your Youtube crazy dieter is HILARIOUS! LOLOL way to poke fun. you could have a career in acting - that bit at the mall was a scream! Not to mention "fun with the kids" and "bed olympics" hahaha

as far as the diet breaker went, it was a ripper. we parked a half a km from the xmas in the park, then walked. We had the HUGE chilly bin that has wheels, it takes up the entire boot of my husbands car (and can barely fit in).
So i started dragging the thing along which was difficult down to the main event 1/2 km away and within 100mtrs a wheel came off. So i picked the thing up and carried it most of the way. It was darned tooting heavy. On the steep downhill my arms were about to give out so i made husband grab a handle and take half it on the hill.
Got there, sat downon our fold out chairs, opened up the chilly bin, and enjoyed eating and drinking and singing and dancing for the next 5-6 hours.
We had ham rolls, tim tams (choc bikkie), chippies, strawberries, etc. It was a great evening and i have no guilt. My whole upper body however is in pain today lol.

No gym workout today, but eating was ok.
 
rain all day and week by the looks so no cycling. didnt go to the gym tonight as we celebrate the kids good school reports. made up for it by spending quality time with sandpaper and my kitchen table.Unfortunatly what was supposed to be wood, turned out to be a really good veneer :/

So i have a really nicely sanded veneer with a bald spot that isnt too obvious thank god. i just finished wipeing it down with turps, then im gonna give it a coat of poyeurathane.
please excuse any typos, hands are in gloves filled with moisteriser as the sand paper made em feel like sandpaper :(
