Agreed its not always quiet right - but reality is that its gonna be really handy.

See below, and this is what *everyone* says about them. Its not something girls talk about really is it, but ive asked around and been surprised at the results myself before buying one.

OMG wishes, did I hear talk of the cup?? I use the Diva Cup religiously and I LOVE IT! No garbage, no grossness, I can leave it in all day and change it at night/morning. It's a life saver. I would reccommend one for SURE. Here's a link for the one I use: . Not sure if they have it where you are, but I can imagine it would make your cycling SO much easier!
Yep i looked up diva cup, i only went with femmecup because it was cheaper. It was that or mooncup. There isnt a lot of choice here in NZ

ok food log today - im trying to actually do it this time - i always seem to forget.
breakfast protein bar
skipped morning tea - got too busy at work
lunch protien bar
afternoon tea brussells sprouts and yogurt
Dinner was meant to be fish pie but there wasnt enough, so i dished up everyone elses and grabbed a steak out of the freezer

So total of about 1100 cals or so. Ill probably snack some in a bit to put a few more in there. I have some fruit salad in the fridge etc.
 
Oh, I see you've been back a few times. Thanks for sticking around. The good news is that I've lost 6.5 inches off my waist in the two months since I joined the gym. That's crazy. So I'm heavier but my shape is improving. And truthfully, I had a compliment the other day that I was looking "skinnier" all the time.

So that is a fair trade off.

I had shit hit he fan yesterday. Something went down with one of the kids at school, it was dealt with and sorted out. it wasnt a major. But some stupid chick decided to tell me i was a bad mother on a message board because i didnt demand people were fired over it.
What peed me off the most wasnt that she had her own demented opinion, but that we live in a small town and this chick was posting our names, and my kids names, and my sons name isnt exactly 'normal'.
I ended up having to spent money calling a toll call to get the threads pulled down, and take my own personal website down because she was taking photos and other details off it as 'ammunition' against me and my family as if we did something wrong.

Lets jut say i didnt sleep to well, so no early morning ride today. I did hit the gym last night for 30 mins spin. Ive stopped all those suppliments trying to get rid of the swollen eyes.
Ill go for a ride tonight when my eyes are a more normal size :)
 
oh grrr im so stressed out about this shite on message boards. it makes me so darned mad, and im just so stressed out :/
Ive already eaten breakfast and lunch and its only 11am and im not overly hungry but craving mega cake or something.
I think im gonna have to get something sweet or 'bad' now before i binge and go nuts.

oh well i didnt do too bad, i went and bought a pumpkin bacon and feta filo thing, plus a fruit scone thing. I think ive had my tummy shrink or something because i was totally full and could barely fit it in.
Anyway i still managed to keep cals at about 2500ish. Had steak burger and fries for dinner, plus couple protien bars and toast also for the rest of the day, i didnt log it at the time because i was mega stressedlol

On the plus side i did my 40km loop. I did it in 1:31. That just knocked another 5 mins off my best time!
So in 2 months ive gone from doing it in 1:58 to a best time of 1:42 (avg of 1:47). And last weds i knocked that down to 1:36 and then yesterday 1:31 !
Im totally stoked! big time! :D:D:D
 
on another note, my womanly thing is late - im pretty sure its late!
I recall thinking last month 'oh wicked it wont fall on the race! it will be long over!'
Not wanting to ride with a tampon or something in a 160km race, now im almost in a panic that i need to have it in the next day or two so its over come race day :/

No im not pregnant - cant get that way either!

I've seen that video before. I think I first saw it a couple of years ago so I'm sure with some digging someone could find out a status update. I'd be interested in hearing what her condition is. I find it hard to believe she got that large without some underlying metabolic condition.

If one doesn't exist, those parents should be shot.

Holy shit. The fact that she was able to lose weight without any mention of medicine leads me to believe that she was eating absurd amounts of food.

So my day was ok,
Breakfast = 2 slices toast
protein bar for morning tea
lunch was pumpkin and bacon filo
dinner was chips and other finger food at the pub.
about 1500-2000ish calories. Cant measure the pub food. Not enough protien today but im sure ill live.

Ive come up against another dialema that you guys may be able to help with. I have a co-worker who is the coolest guy. Really nice guy, soft spoken, smart, witty and awesome dude.
Hes big ... REALLY big. 400lb+. Now i know i have the tools to help him, and i know he knows i do. But will he ask me? or do i have a chat to him and try and just let him know that if he ever wants to know anything just ask?
I'd hate to hurt his feelings because hes a truly awesome dude and i have a lot of respect for him.
Im seriously worried because he has darkened skin, particularly around his eyes etc. Im worried that hes at the turning point of going downhill, and fast. Once the health problems start they only get worse until you die unless you do something about it.
 
Liz, for what it's worth - if it was me (and I used to be close to 400 lbs) and someone with your background, approached me out of genuine concern and friendship? I would listen. I might feel funny about asking you to help me though, if I were feeling shitty about myself otherwise.

Take it for what it's worth, I'm only giving my opinion based upon my own personality. Your results may vary... But I' think I'd go for it. If he is worthy of your respect in other things, I would have to assume he has the type of mind that would also respect you, and understand where you are coming from.
