yea, customer service really sucks anymore :(

hows things going w/the kidney surgery??
The surgery is not happening. Long story, but a doctor decided that we MIGHT have some syndrome which cant be proven either way so based on that its not happening. The fact that we have no symptoms means nothin apparently.

Freaking hot day today. Bought new shoes so im going for a bike ride after work with them to see how they go. Hopefully better than the last ones!
On another note, a bike seat i sold had a crack in it, so person wants money back. No idea how it got a crack in it but i said ill refund it sweet as. Ill claim insurance on it or something from the post office because it was sweet when i sent it.

Oh on another note, trying to stick to super low calories of which are pretty much all protien based. Just for a week or two to drop as much weight as i can before this race.
The difference will be HUGE when im heading up all those hills.

Man its super hard though :(

Once in my life I decided to have low calories and eat all meat. I mostly just ate chicken and turkey for like 2 weeks. I lost a lot of weight, but it really sucked. (then I gained it all back. :/) Good luck with preparing for your race!

yep it really does suck, i did ok for yesterday then ate a bag of chips :/
still was only 1600 cals for the day.
Today is harder because its my sons birthday. But ill do what i can - and that doesnt involve cycling unfortunatly :(

Hello Liz!! Yeah I dropped out of sight for a few months, but I'm back at it once again. The great thing, I didn't put any weight on during that time away, I stayed focused and ate well even though I wasn't able to get online and post.

**Kim kneels down and does the I'm not worthy bend for wishes*** after seeing how much your still kicking ass on your bike, I feel like a loser... LOL Okay, I know I'm not a loser but HOLY SMOKES, you are certainly my biking idol, I mean it. If I only had 1/4 of your dedication I would be at the size I want to be and would feel like a million bucks today, hmmmmm do you think you can rub some of that wishes MOJO on me please, I need it badly!!

I got on my bike at home for an hour today, HOLY Crap it's nothing like the one at the gym in which I can bike 10 miles in about 35 minutes. On my home bike it works my entire body including my arms as the handles move back and forth while I'm peddling my ass off, OIY!! it whooped my ass today, not to mention my butt crack, OUCH!!! My hubby and I are trying to workout "time" management for the gym, as somebody needs to be home after work to let the dog out, now that my sons are no longer living at home. Sad, sad times for me, but I'm sure I'll get over it. Anyways, I just wanted to stop by and say HEY! AND to let you know I think your the BIKING QUEEN!!!

Later gator
Kim

lol i love that movie 'We're not worthy!' :D

And i might bike a lot but the diets been out the window until recently. I mean i re-gained weight! admittedly i stopped cycling for a month or two.
Back on the wagon kinda thing now with cycling, and this week the diet has undergone change.
I did ok today even though it was my sons birthday.
3 english muffins for breaky
protien bar for lunch (11am)
banana and salad for arvo tea
nachos for dinner (home made, mostly veges) + sponge cake
and another protien bar after a bike ride.
Total of about 1700 cals

Boy the bike ride was awesome! I knocked off 6mins on my best time on the route i do. Its a 40km route of mostly hills. My best previous time was 1:42 (usually 1:47) . Today i did it in 1:36 !! :D
YAY ME!

OMG I love you're name Fat Lazy Guy. For a long time I used to fondly murmer to myself Fatty Goes to the Gym, or Fatty goes shopping, or Fatty tries on a pair of pants in the clothing store. Made me laugh instead of cry.

Hey Wishes, I'm gonna have to watch the movie "We're Not Worthy".
Cycling in New Zealand must be incredible. Good on ya for healthy eats at your son's birthday bash.

Ahhh hahahaha thats so funny, fatty has a laugh and pees her panties! :D
'We're Not Worthy' is part of the film Waynes world where the 2 guys meet Alice Cooper, get down on their knees and do the praising motion saying "We're not worthy! we're not worthy!"
Watch Waynes world though , its classic :)

I was more happy with the bike ride! I didnt even think i would get one in, seemed a bit mean not being there in the morning for my son or after dinner to say goodnight on his birthday. But they went to soccer with dad for a couple hours so i said 'ill see you there!'
Knocking of 6 mins was just a bonus - though i swear i ate about 100 calories worth of bugs :/

Zero-fat bugs :) Nicey :p

I still have your youtube in my fav - and always will. It's a great story. But then, you've always been my fav *secrets out now*

ooo favouritism! i love it :D

did the 40km in 1:40 today. Still better than my previous best which was 1:42 - but there was a headwind.
weight has gone down. So twice this week ive knocked my previous best.
This means my finish time is estimated to be 6 hours for the 160km race, dependant on what groups i get into on the flats (wont make much difference on the hills i dont think).
Thats great, my ideal is still under 6 hours - if i knock that one out ill be stoked!
Still cutting cals big time. Yesterday i ate more than i should have probably - it was roast lamb and roast potatoes done in fat (havnt had that in years!)
Had a guest over for dinner which was why dinner went askew, then popcorn with a movie. The rest of the day was fine, No cycling yesterday though.

Today ive already put in my 40km as i said earlier, firmly back on salads and protien bars etc.

Your doing a fantastic job on your bike times~ WOW......

So how many calories do you try to eat a day?? I love good ole' protien bars. mmmmmmmm oh and salad too, with fat free italian dressing. mmmmm okay I'm drooling now.

Im done with counting calories. Basicly i eat as few calories as i can, whilst not being left hungry, and make sure i get at least 120g protien a day.
So currently my day is somewhat like this ..
Wakeup at 5:45am, get dressed and leave for a ride at 6am.
Arrive home at 7:30-7:40am.
Eat protien for breakfast plus cuppa coffee (instant with water and smidgen of low fat milk).
Lunch is about 10:30am-11am and again pretty much protien based.
Second lunch is about 2pm-3pmish and again Protien based.
Dinner is about 5-6pm and its normally a 'normal' dinner only i try to stick to low fat.
When i say a meal is protien based it can be anything from just a protien bar, to couple of eggs, yoguert , etc. usually about 200 cals or so.
But then I have snacks which consit of maybe a piece of fruit, a salad etc. Basicly healthy stuff that have zilch calories and are just minor fillers.
I drink a lot of tea with super trim milk, occasional coffee same way.
The idea is that im never left hungry or cravy too often. Usually calories work out about 1400-2000

omg, love the accent, its so cute!
What accent? I dont have any accent!!
But if you're on skype at all then add me 'wishez'
I dont login too often but i try to once or twice a week when im home.

Today was a good day for dinner. Hitting the sack early tonight, thank god i get a sleep in this weekend, its been weeks since i had one! My daughters saturday horse riding lessons is now 11am rather than the 8am it was :D

hey there liz :) awesome for the time on the bike, it is such a great feeling beating yourself when you don't expect it :D
i'm gonna check that you tube channel too :)

have a great day
lena
