ok 2100 for the day eaten, and cycled about 50+km or so burnin about 2000 cals according to the computer (so reality probably 1200 lol)

I need to eat more for the next couple days, mostly carbs, and no cycling. Saturday is race day so we rest up and carbo load for a couple days beforehand.

I only want to eat eat eat eat these days (since yesterday), so don't feel bad... maybe it's that time of the year ;)!
and yey for carb load up and let's win that race!!! What are you racing? I mean how long is it and where to and who is doing it?? Have you considered doing the ironman... I mean it is done somewhere australia-new zealand... isn´t it? So you wouldn't have to travel! And you got the biking part down!! So now you just need to run and swim! It would be great motivation!!

yeah iron man includes running, i dont do running atm.
The Race is saturday morning and 100kms, from talking to the guys last night its a fairly easy one.

Oh my god you guys figured me out! I'm a victim of internet disease!!! Shit, I even had to change my color to blue in order to hide my hideousness.

What I hate more (no offense to anyone I have offended...oh screw it...be offended) is the ultra cheesy model poses. Its one thing to pose a bit. But the whole I-look-like-I-just-had-an-orgasm look doesn't do it for me...especially when the person is really funny looking. Save it for the bar, sweetie.

BTW... there is no way your avatar is myspace angle. You look far to normal and the angle isn't wacked out enough. Mine on the other hand...
 
hah actually my shot was done like that because i had no lighting (it was night time) and if i didnt bend my head down you got the bulb above my head like an idea or halo haha :D

I was talking to somebody (I forget who) and took the pic then thought it looked ok as an after thought.
Nothing wrong with angle shots or posed shots so long as you arnt doing it to hide some horrid deformaty or fat or basicly trying to hide the fact that you are a slag trying to get a pickup :)

I wont be posting much - today im working from home and packing the van to leave this arvo. We travel after picking up kids after school and race is tomorrow. then we will be back sunday.

So today im working from home today whilst packing the van ... and feeling the sniffles beginnings of a cold:(

ok quick update.

My major goal was to do it in under 3.5 hours, but definatly under 4 hours.

I did it in 3 hours 6 mins. Bet most of my team mates, totaly blown away. i wasnt even going my hardest because i didnt know the course and didnt want to blow out too early! Bit gutted now that i probably could have made it under the 3 hour mark now lol.

3 hours (6 minutes are not even a number, they are more like a toilet break or something) are amazing! In 3 hours yesterday I managed to drink a cup of tea and move slowly to the library. You cycled a marathon!

i would have rather had the cup of tea and moving to the library!

So i changed my lucky tyres yesterday. Ive had those tyres since i bought the bike and never had a puncture, and thats about 18 months!
When getting the newer tyres i went for the slightly cheaper ones, i couldnt choose what colour to get so got one red and one blue. Front wheel has red stripes around it and back has blue stripes.
When riding to work i noticed a distinct difference in speed - but im unsure if its due to the tyres. If the new tyres are making me slower then im gonna have to bite the bullet and buy nicer ones :/

Anyway Its day 9, my goal to do 1000km this month is well under way!

If i had ridden sunday or monday i wouldnt be so far behind but i was feeling tired. Ill do some extra tonight and this weekend to catch it up.

Im going up and down on the diet. 1200-1500 cals a day if im not doing a larger ride that day or the next. If im doing 100km or more in a day ill eat more the day before and on that day.
