hahahahah the mental image kept me in hysterics for ages :D:D

WISHES!!!! Sorry for my absence... time for me to play catch up! How've you been? Seems like you're doing quite well! Even though they may not be "accurate", you're body fat % is quite impressive! Good job girlie!!!!
Heya you, good to see you again!
that body fat % is way off, i did a better one later on that said about 29% which i think is more accurate.

though on another note, i took my pulse the other day, my resting heart rate is 48bpm .. thats rather low ... i double checked with manual finger to the pulse point a couple more times and they are all very similar.

Im totally blown away - it used to be 90-100!
normal is 60-70, and endurance athletes generally are 40-50 apparently

Doesn't surprise me at all, actually. The same thing happened to me. Last July, mine was around 68 to 70. Now it's 48 to 51. That's one of the reasons I like intense cardio.

Oh cool, glad im not the only one. I freaked out a bit thinkin there was something wrong with me for a second lol.
I emailed my PT who assured me that I was fitter than he was lol.

One thing about me is my genes both played a very large part in getting me so overweight and in protecting me from weight related health issues. My metabolism is so low that my body themperature is normally 97.8 degrees. I almost got an F in biology my sophomore year of high school because when I took my pulse it was 52. The state cross country champ was 48 and the teacher couldn't believe mine was so low until he took it himself. With the workouts you're getting Wishes yours sounds totally reasonable.

Good Morning!! You did so well in the race! Running out of water must have been scary along with physically uncomfortable. How close are you now to your goal for surgery?

Hey you - I read through sinc emy last pst but I dont have much to comment on - LOL - I can totally relate to the lack of weight loss and you are still loosign more than me - Sophie suggested I try your sacred heart thing you tried - sorry my words are lacking...Ive been jumping between 204 and 205 now forever at least a month and a half 2 months - I am gettin so frustrated - anyway - I will stop whinning in your diary...HA HA HA - I just wanted to drop in and say hey

Howdy Wishes,
Lol I saw "SH" I want to run away now,I am joking.
I think the best thing that came out ofthat was maybe usung the soup
for snacky reasons but not for a meal it is healthy low cal and good for ya so maybe instead of the 100 cal snacks have the soup I think it would work better that way.
Your doing great Wishes and congrats on fishing the race and forgetting the pack w/ water.I was afraid to post here because I try to make a funny and I think you took it for real when I said DRIVE BY ? I was joking although I didn't have alot to say that day I was in and out I still wanted to stop by.
Your weight will drop again soon there is always a # that sticks and is hard to pull out of and 180's were bad for me I spent 5 months in the 180's BUT my fault for cheating all the dang time.
Hope you have a nice day.Any more races in the future? Tammy

lol best thing that came out of it was realizing i can live on veges and fruit alone. I was relying on meat & bread to much :)
Sorry if i went overboard the other day, i was exhausted from the race and travelling.

Already hit it and doing the tests. Tests take like 3 months or so so im still loosing more.

And the pics from the race went online today - i edited out the water marks on them (after nicking them from the site unpaid for lol) hence why there is a few odd blurry bits :)

Lookin at these pics, i clearly have a few lb to go! man i look chunky next to the other super slim riders

Nah not sunburnt - just exertion or the editing. Couuld have also been the cold - it was almost at freezing point lol.

The bike better look good for the price i paid for it lol.

Anyway, ive been increasing my calorie intake slowly. it used to be 1200, now im averaging 1300-1400. Ill eventually get it up to 2000 by the time im getting to eventual goal weights.
Hopefully my metabolism wont be too screwed from being so low all the time. and the cycling should help it a fair bit :)

Thanks for the pictures wishes. I didn't think you looked very bulky by yourself, but I can see that you would notice the difference to a typically sized race rider. Bike riders do tend to look especiallly thin don't they? (Pic of the future wishy?) You already have a skinny bike anyhow.

I'm still keen to see how you place when you've lost the rest of the weight and remember the right clothes and have all your water!! I bet you are too! :)
