weight loss forum rocks my world!!!

got curious about everyone mentioning your voice, took me awhile to find where everyone heard ya :D

You kiwi's and your accents.... thank god us Canadians don't have accents :D

have a great day liz!

yep it was warm, though its not so warm now. Its blowing a blustery cold front and looks like rain is a comming. Ive flagged the riding today in leu of gym work. Not because of the wind, but the gusts that can knock a person off a bike easily at 50km/ph

Oh and back on the topic of my voice and accent, we watch a lot of american TV over here, so having been exposed to it from a young child i understand it with no problems. But whenever ive tried to skype or talk to anyone in the US, they cant understand a word i say!

Anyway Last but not least , my butt hurts like a bitch - the saddle on the exercycle is different shape to the one on the normal bike and it uses different muscles :/

I sound the same as the average American, but I do say "eh" a lot. :D

Look eh, thats a total myth eh,... so like dont tell everyone we say eh, eh...ok?
um.... eh.
lol
NO we dont!!!
ok..well some do..lol..ive never personally met one that does...but i have met a canadian guy that kept saying dude..that was a lil traumatizing.lol
Michelle :) eh

Canada is funny though, there are parts that have HUGE accents, and others that dont. depends on the area you are from...eh
Michelle ;)

Ugh, the very FIRST thing everyone asks if I mention that my best friend is Canadian is 'Does he say aboot?'. It's ANNOYING. He doesn't really have an accent that I can hear, and I think I say 'eh' more than he does (I do truly say it all the time, though).

lol Bethyness,
I know that parts of Canada they do say aboot. My sister lives in one of them, and thats how she talks (not as strong as people that have lived there all of their lives. but the accent is definately there. Im from BritishColumbia Canada..you dont hear so much of it here, I still think its all funny, My sister also say Torona...for Toronto.. :D
Michelle :)

I have two Canadian friends (I've had more, but lost touch :(), my best friend in Toronto, and another in Regina, Saskatchewan--and the girl from Sask tends to call it Toronna. She's adorable :D
I'm really hoping I get accepted to the university I applied to, because then I'll live in Toronto and get to hang out with my best friend finally :D

when i say aboot (to try and imagine a canadian accent lolz) it just sounds scottish to me. although im pretty sure that canadian and scottish accents are pretty far apart in similarities....

LOL Sophie,
Yeah they are pretty far apart, however some of the accents from Canada heading towards newfoundland, and such, the accents do get pretty strong so they wouldnt sound scottish, but taken the words out of context from the actual sentence, you could probably hear the similarity. I have a friend that lives out that way, and she teases me about MY accent. I keep saying i dont have one, and she claims that she is the one that doesnt have one..lol
Michelle :)

Hi Wishes, I hope you are having a great day!(or is it evening? oh lordy i gotta figure that out!)... Anything new and exciting happening in your world???
Michelle :)

its midday now lol.
I thought it was the english who say 'aboot' instead of 'about' , i cant tell the difference between canadian accent and american much sorry. I think the only american accent i can pick would be southern (which i cant stand) and spanish :D

So i was all pepped for riding today but last night the weather turned bad and now its gusty as heck. Not cold, not rainy, not even that windy. Just Gusty!
Which if anyone of you rides understands how dangerous that can be going 50km/ph down hill and suddenly getting shunted 2 foot to the left or right can be.

So i cancelled the ride and hit the gym instead. Got some good weights in, and then some swimming.
Now im knackered - though i might go to the gym again later and get some cardio in.

Now THAT is determination..may I please borrow a little of that? lol
Good for you to be working that hard.
Michelle :)
