Skipping is a great form of exercise... why else would boxers do it? But sadly I too would be much too embarassed to do it in public... I'm in the public eye after all, I have a image to maintain lol

5 lbs? EFFIN EH! ^5

Yes! i bought one pair of jeans about 3 weeks back but they are now baggy on me. I now fit another pair of pants that have never fit me ever! (bought them but were a size to small).
So mostly to the gym i wear trackies with ties at the waist that hold them up.

Today was special at the gym, one of the beefcakes came up and talked to me! These guys although friendly dont really talk to regular folk because they are all about being a beefcake. So i guess they noticed me being there every day for 3 months and how hard i was going and decided to say hi and introduce themselves :)

skipping sounds like fun, as long as i don't go through the floor! wishes you are doing awsome, 5lbs in a week? Cool, inspire much? yeah ( spoken like Wayne from Waynes world)

FIVE POUNDS!!!! That is awesome!!!! congratulations on another successful week.

And getting chatted up by beefcakes guys? ALWAYS a good thing!!!!

Have a great one!

man now ive updated those pics i feel really depressed.
I honestly cant see much difference other than a little here and there.
Now i just look like a vaguly toned fat person.

i just want to scream IVE LOST 25KG! WHY DONT I LOOK LIKE I HAVE!

its not that im not loosing the weight - its just taking so damned long and i still look really fat after 3 months. I mean there isnt one single part of my body that im happy with other than perhaps i look more muscular.

Even at my fattest i didnt care how i looked really. But now ive been working out over an hour most days of the week and really hard and i just dont see it. I just dont see much difference :(
I know im loosing and im not going off the deepend or off the program, i just feel stink i guess, depressed

Probably overtired from staying up late last night and PMS lol.

i think the change is remarkable - hello waistline!

hope you feel better - i guess its normal to crack the odd sad when you are working so hard, maybe you should think about how that photo would look had you not started this program!

I think you've made an amazing change in your body!! You're much more defined!! I know it's hard to see changes in yourself but you look great!!!!! Keep up the great work!! :)

I definitely see a big difference. You're doing awesome!

I think most of us feel impatient at how slow it seems to be coming off, but don't be discouraged. You're making great progress. Keep it up!

:) You can totally see the weight loss!! You're waistline has a beautiful hour-glass figure happening, your behind is rounder and firmer and you're wearing clothes that you couldn't fit into a few months ago!! You're doing fantastic!!

Wahoo!! Hip-hip-hooray for Wishes!!

MORNING!!! I agree with everyone else.. Your waist line is alot more smaller and you look every good. You got some curves and be proud :D You look AWESOME!!! Don't get discourged. Stay positive and keep it up. Have a GREAT Day and drink that WATER;)

Wow - I can definitely see a difference. You're doing fantastic!!!! You're such an inspiration for those of us who are in it for the long haul. Thanks for sharing.

Wishes... you look GREAT! I can totally see that you have gotten stronger and smaller! That is hard work, and you're looking great! Keep up all of the hard work.
I love the different color hair too! :) Your super fun to be able to pull that off.
Thanks for all the great advice you have been giving and have shared in your diary.

Well i went out to a resterunt feeling sad somewhat (see above). It was my brothers birthday - hes younger and always prided himself on his fitness and stregnth. Anyway my older brother mentioned that i had been doing weights so the younger one offered an arm wrestle. I figure "Hey i bench 50kg couple times a week - why not"
Anyway I was laughing as i held him. I think i was laughing to hard to get him down fully but i got him halfway :)

just looking at your before and after pics.... and I agree with everyone else, big difference! 25 kg? DAMN, that's wonderful!

Keep it up and maybe you'll be able to slam your brother during your next arm wrestling match ;)

hahaha indeed! I will practice!

Well today i did the usual piece of toast - gym for an hour and half - breakfast at work. Then work shouted us lunch (the monthly developers team lunch) and i kind of went overboard on calories there (unintentionally). Was a nice steak with lots mashed potatos (which i only ate half of) and i skipped the drinks and had water and also bypassed the deep fried onion rings (though that was really hard lol).
Either way i only ended up with 100 calories left for dinner. I kind of skipped dinner because i wasnt hungry because of the lunch - feeling a little peckish now though at 9.51pm. Might have a piece of toast before going to bed.

Had to bake up a storm for the kids school and made about 4 dozen scones including fruit, chocolate, chocolate chip, and cheese scones. Not once was i hungry or eating any of them.

Im definatly seeing my appitite disappearing more and more. And When i used to be able to clear the plate now i cant. In fact i dont seem to even want to anymore either which is fantastic.
Im in a much better mood today than yesterday ehehe.

As I was cooking tonight - a lovely stirfry - I thought I should share this quick and easy low cal healthy food that my sister in law showed me (Shes Thai)
2 eggs in a bowl
fill the bowl with equal amount of water (so its 50/50 egg and water)
teaspoon of soy sauce (or wooster sauce?)
mix the lot up

microwave for 2 mins on high - presto :)

i know it looks a bit odd but it tastes fantastic and only about 100 calories :D

Okay since its friday night and im bored shitless im gonna have a rant. This rant is not directed at anyone here on the forums - please do not take it that way (just letting off steam)

WHY do people pay tons of money to go to the gym, they get up at 5am to go in early before work and then just sit there half heartedly doing exercise whilst reading. I mean HELLO! if you arnt breaking a sweat then chances are your eyes are doing more of a workout whilst reading than anything else!
Im a reader - an avid reader. I speed read and can easily read a 300 page book in an hour (20 minutes at my best). If i cant read I go insane so i know what its like to want to read a book and exercise. Ive tried it myself! but it is IMPOSSIBLE to do a PROPER workout and read a book.
And as for that fat chick i see every morning who reads and exercises, why on earth do you waste your time?! She turns the treadmill on and is barely even moving (I shit you not .. its not even a decent walking pace) and does that for 5 minutes before moving to a laying back exercycle for another 5 minutes, then the rowing machine for another 2 minutes maybe all the while sighing loudly and looking determinedly bored and trying to read her book.
I do wonder if she has noticed that whilst she looks the same, ive gone from being HEAPS bigger than her down to a smaller size than her.
And there is this skinny chick, sure she has an ok body - but she is SOOO not toned. everything is just flat, straight. Looks kinda like a popcicle stick. And yet she goes to the gym every morning and again does a half hearted useing the stepper (whilst reading), and then reclined exercycle (reading a book), then some other cardio stuff. Never thinking once that perhaps they might go down to the weights section and actually give their muscles a real workout - or even crank the level up off the lowest.

ok now i have that off my chest, im tired and grumpy and probably shouldnt be posting to forums right now lol.
I take back anything nasty i might have implied! and huges to all *hugs*
