ok peoeple who have weddings should take into the consideration the following:
Do NOT have it at 4pm on a friday arvo,
People are still at work! people pickup kids at 3pm get home at 3.30, 10 mins to change clothes, another 15 to drop off oldest child at godfathers place, that leaves 5 mins to do a 20 min drive to a location they dont know and can get lost at :O

Dont start your reception at 6pm, the same start time as a famine where people have to go a day or more without food! its evil!

okay thats my beef over and done with. Lovely wedding :)
Finally was able to eat again today at 3pm, we had buns in the car which we ate right away (we were out and about). Then had butter chicken for dinner (filling and high prot/kcal).
Man i could never do any kinda fast, i was feeling ill from not eating eeek!
Feeling much better today, got heaps done today and picked up a new keyboard that has a working d key. It also has nice glowey backlights too :D
Has a weird keyboard setup though, the pageup/page down keys are on the right next to the enter key, somewhat like a laptop.

I just realized that whilst im away on camp im gonna miss the biggest loser :/
Guess ill have to video it or something that week. blarg. This means having to find a blank vcr and re-remember how to use the darned thing. Time to buy some new technology, a dvd recorder or something.

4 pm Friday is a bit of a radical time for a wedding. :D

I watch TBL. If things go wrong with your recording, let me know and I can pm you. (Not the same I know - Munalitta and Courtney have been cracking me up and I would not be able to reproduce the voice!).

Camping sounds like fun. What are your plans?

we don't have the biggest loser here :( i wanna watch that.

hehe as for fasting for a day...i heard that's actually good for you if you do it once in a month or once in two months, just to detox your organism.

glad you enjoyed the wedding :)

have a great weekend
Lena

Good job with sticking with the fast wishes. Those things aren't easy but they do show you that you've got the will power to with stand a lot. How are you doing so far in regards to you quitting smoking?

Congrats on quitting smoking! Your life will improve immensely for it.

I quit 34 years ago, cold turkey, after smoking 2 packs of Camels a day for 8 years. The last day I smoked, I started coughing around 7 am and didn't stop until 10 pm that night. Scared the piss out of me.

Even though I never had another cig after that, I still dreamed about smoking for up to 25 years after that. In my dream I would be so bummed out that I had started smoking again. Then I'd wake up and be ecstatic that it was just a dream

I wonder if I'll wake up and find I'm actually skinny

You are soo correct about surgery and being a smoker. Congratulations on deciding to quit. Great move on your part!!! I'm pulling for you from way over here!!!

Howdy Wishes,
Wow I could have never had my wedding on a friday at 4pm
that would have been too hectic and stressfull.Congrats on kicking the"butt"
to the curb you can do it.Have a nice day Tammy

well i ate my 1200 cal that day anyway, had butter chicken and chocolate and really induldged to make it up, it was awesome.

Talk about starving in the morning making you eat more in the evening though! sheesh!

Anyway been offline since becuse we re-arranged the house and moved the bedrooms all around so now the girls have their own room and now theres no computer room. The computers are in the lounge (where mine was already anyway).
sold my pet bird becuse i no longer have the time he deserves to spend with him. Im gonna get some gouldian finches instead (very pretty, very quiet and low mainance).
Have eaten heaps today, gonna have to take it easy for dinner i think.

Anyway my main computer is still offline, im on the laptop now because we have to re-arrange the lounge some still. No exercise today unless you count lugging a set of bunks downstairs plus 2 sets of drawers and stuff, then lugging a double and single bed upstairs plus set of drawers and full shelves plus 2 computer desks monitors etc ...
I reckon ive had a work out and a half :D

So thats about it, my news for the day.

A work out and a half - yes Id say you have lol - does it feel good to have gotten so much accomplished and have everythign and everyone settled except for the lounge and comp area ???

From the time she entered college, I moved my daughter 7 times. Yes, moving furniture is one hell of a workout, that's for sure!

Haha been there done that :)
I moved 22 times within 2 years once :/

Ooo i like your lips sig :O Its morning now and im still on the laptop and there are wires everywhere :D

We used to do the 30 hour famine in high school every year, it was to raise money for kids who had no food.

I recall doing a 40 hour famine once at about age 12, now they are only allowed to do 20 hours apparently at that age.
It was fun if nothing else :D

rotfl - i did that too but not any one of those 22 times :D

Skipping rent was years later when i had my 4 kids plus 4 step kids, plus useless husband and living on $500 a week. I figured food was higher priority than rent at the time ... takes 6 weeks before they can kick you out so we had some leeway :D

Wow i never knew my diary had so much info in it.

I have been setting up a blog on my weight loss site, and i wanted to keep the stuf from this diary.
So ive been going through from the start, copy/pasting it.
MAN i used to loose some HUGE numbers and REGULARLY!

*gobsmacked*

Anyway, im up to 19th Oct so far. Page 34. Only another 100 or so pages to go :O

Talk about painstaking! Though it is good though to reassert my goals etc.

Anyway, here it is so far

Im loving it but i suspect its gonna take a few days :/

Thanks Sleepless :D

This morning i got up, tried on the shorts i bought about 3 weeks ago that didnt fit, and presto! they fit!
Man that was a great moment :)

I reckon ill be going down a size to 14 soon with any luck. More importantly though, ill be down to goal weight for surgery! (to donate kidney to older brother)

My tummy has gone down incredibly though lately. When wearing pants that are semi tight accross the belly it flattens out completly, when im not it hangs out a tad because of the excess skin.

Still, i plan to get that removed if it doesnt resolve itself within a year. Bit costly, but thats the price of being overweight i suppose. Husband is still pushing for a boob lift (they disappeared also with the weight lol), but im either/or on that one.

Id rather be skinny and feeling as good as i do with saggy skin etc than overweight like i was. Being able to buy normal clothes from the shop is such a mega major thing.
I recall going to kmart or warehouse (another department store) and crying on more than one occasion because nothing fit.

I need to get back into going to the gym more often, sucks to have not gone in ages, other than the odd time. I want to maintain my muscle so i dont waste away. In fact i might start cycling to work again if the weather holds out.
It might help knock those few last kg off anyway :D

I know I don't really know you that well *yet*;), but I wanted to send well wishes to your brother and tell you how incredibly noble I think you are for doing this for him. I know you are doing it for you, too, but what a great motivation it must be to know what an awesome thing you are going to be able to do for him soon. It gets me all teary... I would give you a cyber respect handshake, but I don't know how...so here is a pat on the back *Pat, Pat*. I don't even KNOW you and I am proud to know you:)
