Well for all my planning last night was a dieters nightmare.
Firstly there was nothing to drink except water and wine (i dislike wine).
Secondly there was no control over what you ordered - it was some sort of pre-organized buffet thing. The entree consisted of a place of deep fried spring roll, deep fried chicken piece, deep fried toast with some fatty looking spread and some other stuff deep fried.
And I said no thanks, ill give it a miss - of course everyone wonders whats wrong with me and nobody can live with 'i just dont feel like it' which in turn ends up an in depth explanation that im trying to loose weight, at which point of course everyone chips in with "nooo you're doing it wrong, i heard this in a magazine ..."
So next course was soup - im like "sweet! i can afford 100 cal for a soup" (I had only budgeted for a lamb salad).
So the soup turns up - its some coconut cream and chicken soup...."No thanks!"
Then because everyone moved seats between courses i got the same conversation and judgemental crap.
So then comes the main course. By this time ive drunk 4 cups of water and im jammed into a seat near the back wall so i cant get out to pee lol.
The first dish they bought out was some creamy chicken curry thing - keyword Creamy! (I was at the point of walking out because i was hungry and refused to eat such fatty crap). Luckily i was saved because they bought out a place of what looked to be honey and soy beef strips with a non fatty coating, and then a chicken and veg stir fry. I picked out some veges (the chicken had skin on it) and grabbed a bunch of the meat and ate that.
Pudding involved a little ball of ice cream (table spoon sized) and a large tray of fruit. So I had one ball of ice cream since i was out for the night and a bit of fruit and then left as quickly as possible lol.
Luckily i only got to 1470 cal for the day. Boy was I busting to go pee by the time i left though! hehehe.
