Hey everyone, my name is Max, I'm 19 and I though I would share my weight loss journey so far. I have followed some of the stories on this forum and they all have been motivation to keep at it in the gym.

I weighed 246 at my heaviest back in April and decided enough was enough. I have been working at it ever since and so far I have lost 45lbs. I weight 201.6 as of this morning. I would still like to loose about 15lbs or so. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks everyone! These are pictures with my brother and sister in the first one and my dad is in the second.

Before: Taken in April 2009 around Easter 246lbs

After: Taken about a month ago (August 1st 2009) 206lbs

You're doing great man, you can see the difference in your face quite a bit. Whatever you're doing, keeping plugging away at it. It's working.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your interest. I'm doing really well. I'm currently at my desired weight (173) as of this morning. I've been bulking up on the weights and feeling awesome! I'm 5'9 for those wondering. Here's a pic, not a great one but something to compare.

Wow! You've really made amazing progress. I'm very curious what you ate and what kind of work out youv'e done. How did you stay on track? What helped you the most?

Thank You! Its been a tough road. I started off just walking for 40 minutes a day. After a while that got old because I wasn't seeing the results that I had hoped for. I then started jogging and doing any other cardio that i could. Rollerblading was a good one, really tough if you want it to be. I just continued doing that for the summer and then in the fall I have been doing the Precor 100i for 40min, 4 times a week a long with weight lifting.

My diet was strict at first. Chicken, brown rice, wheat products, baked potatoes, veggies, fruit, salad, etc. You get the point. It was tough to stay motivated at times but i just focused on my final goal and it seemed to work. It wasn't easy I'll tell you that. If you put yourself 100% into it, you'll get there.

If you have any other ?'s just ask.
