We sure are! Course, I cheated by running a 10K race in the morning--what a sneaky bitch I am! ;) BTW I highly reccomend everyone to do some kid of athletic event for charity on TG, that way you help people AND use up some calories (said the prissy goody two shoes).

Glad to hear it Randy :D Hope your thanksgiving went well! Did you get any "black friday" shopping in there? I sure did...wiped me out..let me tell ya, $450 doesn't go that far anymore, lol I came home and passed out for a few hrs. Christmas is almost here...I'd love to see an avatar of you wearing a santa hat :D

Tell me about it. After a year without a car, I decided I needed to address that issue, which I did earlier this month - hence no Black Friday buck-a-roonies :(

Friday is (was) a great football day (as is today!!) so I basically lounged around in between my two walks and avoided the masses other than a quick trip to the grocery store for all my chili fixin's. I cooked up two jumbo containers to live off of the next several days. I rarely eat chili or soups until the next day. The taste is completely worth the wait afterward, imo. So between adding a few salad days and some healthy sandwiches in the mix, I don't think I'll have to cook for at least a week :)

And don't hold your breath waiting for that avvie. You'll pass out a shit ton longer than a 'few hours'. Just sayin'

I did a morning walk, today. I hope the food urges aren't near as bad as yesterday was. I reckon that T-day dinner set my taste buds a-flyin'. Yesterday was a struggle but I came in under my cals.

Well, I did have a segment in my diary awhile back called "MTV in WLF" where I posted early MTV vids. Yes, all pretty much agreed MTV was worthy back then; and has sucked largely since the advent of those ugly, ugly 'reality' shows .:screwyface:.

No. It was The Tubes. I'm not open for debate on this, either. I whole-heartedly agree about the hip hop verbage, tho.
 
Now for my serious post *sits up straight*

I weighed in today for the first time since September. I'm down to 223 from a weight loss failure weight of 230. This sucks, I know.

On to the positive. We got this bitch turned around. Old school tactics are back at work. Today I walked the trail for 7 miles. My times weren't the old times I'm accustomed to but yanno, it got done and that's the bottom line.

I got everything in place. Good eats, home equipment to get me through the winter and the wlf mojo. Let's not forget I've been really trying lately. I need to really nip a few things in the bud (drinking and depression) and we'll get back to 100%.

You heard it here first ;) It's on like Donkey Kong !!
 
Sounds like an outstanding plan, WLF mojo is a good thing too. BTW, The tubes? uggh. I thought you were a head banger. BTW IMO the best thing about the eighties was the fact that most of the hair bands didn't make it out of there into the nineties...
