Thanks Ladies !! You beautiful people are so supportive !! Forgive me for not multi-replying as usual, sitting her with a cup of coffee and kinda rushing it a bit so I can get on the bike shortly.

Yesterday brought about an extraordinary day for me. My Sis and dh bought a most gorgeous house and yesterday was moving day so I signed up for the 'volunteer' list to help with the move. Since we weren't meeting till 11am, I took the liberty to get a ride in before-hand.

It's funny how when sis has Thanksgiving dinner or a BBQ, etc. how her driveway is full of cars and usually standing room only but when the call to arms comes about, the battle grounds become a virtual ghost town.

A grand total of 5 of us shouldered up the task, 2 were in their 70's age-wise and I was the youngest ::screwy face:: Well, 8 hours and 2 big ass van, and 6 pick up truck loads later, we got the job done.

I thought largely I'd be paralyzed today. I fully expected to be couch-bound with sore muscles. Don't get me wrong, I definitely got some aches but nowhere near what I anticipated.

What a beautiful way to start the first day of Fall, still 'la vida loca-ing' the weight loss life.

Time to go get my ride in so I can get back in time to watch football all day :p

Hey there Randy, Thought I'd make some time today to drop in on my WLF buddies and say hi and see how things are going.

Gosh, I am impressed that you took a bike ride BEFORE helping your sis move! Yikes, honestly, I'd have said that helping with the move was a workout enough! And you call ME hardcore...heh, heh, YOU wrote the book there, pal!

Your an amazing man, to help out with moving, that's when you find out who really loves ya. LOL LOL Your a sweet guy for doing that. And geez, you burn calories moving too, so YEAH!!! Hope your bike ride today is a good one!! And I hope your not feeling real soar this morning either. Have a good one!

I feel for you. My husband & I took 3 months to get all moved. Mind I mainly did the packing and we both arranged the trailer. What a job and to do it in one day!!:beerchug: Here's to you!! I hope today is just wonderful!! i know you deserve it!!!:hug2:

This is why I can't stop coming here :) It's the buddies that make me love this place. When I started this journey I never had one inkling about the friendships that I'd make along the way. It's been a blessed event.

Did It ever !! We tried to put some cals back on afterwards with some BUd Lights - what a shitty tasting beer .::screwy face::.

hehe, you just knew I was riding today, didn't ya ?!?!

As far as helping my sis, that's a no-brainer. She's a devote Christian and I've watched her help countless people in every way, shape and form. She the classic 'what goes around, comes around'. I even missed watching the Penn State game for this - that ranks pretty high in sacrifice ;)

I'm not sure why the sore didn't kick in today either. I'm mystified - completely. I really expected a total 3 day minimum body crash from all this .::puzzled look::.

omg, I thought you were NEVER gonna get done moving !! My lil slice of one day was nothing compared to what you went through !! Thanks for the kudos, Mechelle.

I got a car in the works, gonna be a few days till I get everything worked out. I got a call from our VoTech about a driver instructor position. The process is timely but at least I'm in the mix. Good karma me.
