No comments on your pics. I'll spare your blushes this time. :D

Sorry. Gotta at least say that your middle is looking good. I hope that's restrained enough :D

All that shovelling T2... You must be making us something nice to look at, up above the bit you photograph too. I'm looking forward to March and I'm glad to hear you're doing yourself proud this February. It is inspiring for the rest of us too. :)

I scare myself. One month off and I nail down three hours of walk time today.

That's three hours.

I said three hours.

I can't wait for tomorrow.

Yeppers - talk about vertigo

btw, I loved your post #442 in your diary. You're gifted at self-therapy. I wish people would read your work carefully instead of offering up wreckless rah rah's without realizing where you're going with your writing.

I was going to write a rant in here about stupid support but the 3 hours made me forget it and I'm moving on.

Hey, who's that skinny dude in the pics? oh, is that you....? Hey, I think you have officially masked your identity, oh...wait...was that you who was losing weight in the witness protection program? The grim reaper will never recognize you.

Heya Randy! So, I have to ask...what's with the av? Huh? Huh?

Congrats on walking for 3 hours, that's amazing! I can't wait to start upping my time; I got outside for a 30 minute walk today for the first time since November. I would have done longer, but it was -20, and my legs froze.

Three hours??? I thought one was good....By the way, the pics are fantastic!!!

A most gracious thank you beckster *humbly bows* one was good, so good in fact I went out and did two more hours after the first.

T2 - you are such an inspiration to so many people here - congratulations on your conquests so far mate.

Coming from my mentor, I take your remark with great pride. I also irritate people on here too :D

Just wow, I left my number in your diary and no ringy-dingy  The FWPP is aight, the pay sucks but the accommodations are top-notch. I  the US Gov lodgings (free internet and RDA guidelines-approved foodstuff)

You're too busy to wait for an answer :D Thanks for the kudos. I feel bad your walking season is only from June to July :(

I'm glad you're getting a chance to tell us about your walking again! Good for you and good for us too! That 3 hours is totally amazing!! I never think "Well if he can I can", but I sure do think "Well if he can do that I can at least ..."

Your words have always made a big difference to me and helped me to be able to use my diary to get the most I can from it. I think it's been crucial to my progress and I couldn't be more grateful.

:)) I'm glad you've moved on from feeling ranty because I'd rather you're enjoying yourself, and I gain something from every kind word anyway. :))

Thank you Felici. It pretty much comes down to reminding myself that so very few will actually lose their weight so I balance the bad support as evenly as their intent to be a succeeder or lack of.

I don't think you're one to be easily fooled by rehearsed standard savoir faire from sycophantical forumers.

And yes, I've always tried to convey to any reader who will listen that if I can do it, anyone can. I would never ask anyone to follow my footsteps to a "T" but find their own niche and use it every single day - that is the key to all of this. It's no big secret or mystery, it's application and persistence and boatloads of determination.

"Not - even - close - Bud" *Judd Nelson voiceover*

You're aces on here and we all know it. No one loses the amount you do without being a pretty sharp cookie ;) You like to clown but stupid advice is not your cup of tea.

Besides, you're the only one from Mars on here so it's pretty insightful to see how intergalactical support works.

ok, it's walk time - sore legs n' all, I wouldn't have it any other way ;)

Hiya Randy!! :D:D
Your pictures look great! A rather loose XL - wow you've come so far! Funny how you can not know someone and still be proud of them. Keep it up!!

And I think we're all guilty of reckless rah rahs. My excuse is that when people are really doing great, I'm not sure that I can add anything of value, so I just write a little something so that they know I've read and appreciate the work they've put into it. It may not be more than a 'Yay' but it's still genuine.

Anyway - enjoy your walk. The weather is finally breaking here and I'm looking forward to walking again. :D:D

Hi Amy :) Thanks for the compliments

My mini-rant had nothing to do with you. I know you're a giver and a receiver of support and you embrace the importance of it in both directions. I also think you actually read and understand the events leading up to your support.

Speaking proud, I'm completely proud of your effort :) I'm just as excited about your finish line as I am my own because hard chargers have a special spot in my forum heart. I totally love your can-do attitude. Keep up the great effort, this is going to be a summer to remember for you :)

I walked 2 - 70 minute segments today. I pushed myself to the max for the last 2 days and it really felt good. I really want this so bad. I have so much to get done this year and getting to my goal weight isn't really the big picture but many things start with it so yeah, I'm anxious to get this last blast underway.

I know you'll do it. You have been an inspiration to me. Since I read your first post when I joined the forum. I'm like Amy I don't have a good lot of advice for anyone. I've never been good with words, but what I do say i mean and hope that you know it! I have been totally sick with the flu twice. i am exercising agaiin this week, but I am so week compared to where I was. I am not losing this fast and I knew i wouldn't. I am on the last leg of this journey. I get frustrated, but I am not a quitter. I have lost 35 lbs and kept it off. I can breathe. I don't know about you but that is some major thing I noticed with weight loss. And I feel good and am in great shape. I also know that I will have to keep this up always.

Ok, ok enough huh? Glad you got in your walks, my mood always improves with the weather!!:D

wow 3 hours - impressive.
I wish i had that much spare time in the day. Though i do try to fit at least an hour to an hour and half most days. Im thinkin now im lighter im gonna take a leaf outta others books and switch to walking/running. Ive already been doing heaps of walking on the treadmill at the gym every day.
Now i just need some pants to stay up and my tummy to stop slapping as i jog :D

True words Mechelle :) yes, my breathing is about 1000% better even though I still smoke. I'm not in what I'd call 'great shape' but wow the difference is night and day.

I'm sorry I've led a few of you into an isolated remark about support and it'll probably only get more convoluted if I try to explain it so I'll just leave it as I wrote it and reassure you personally that you have been nothing but a sweety to me with your undying, continued support and for that I thank you

Actually, my support mini-rant isn't aimed at any of my regular supporters. I hope you get on a good streak of feeling well. We miss you when you get sick and hide from us :(

Yeah, I'm blessed (and cursed) having time off to do this. You never seem to find excuses to NOT do your exercises and got the pics to prove it ;) I dunno how you keep up sometimes

wishes - kicking everyone's ass on WLF since Jul 2006 :D
