...i love rock 'n roll...put another dime in the juke box baby...
...i love rock 'n roll...oh wait - I don't think that's the rocks and rolls being discussed here.

Good thing you two are talking about HISTORY lessons!
:)

Lol, I miss driving forklift; it was one of the best jobs I've ever held. It was active, too :D

Did I read that you walked 9 miles today, Trucker?
I think I'de get exhausted biking that far, much less walking it.
I am going to go do some winter hiking when things aren't as frozen, one of my buddies wants to do it, and we have a great park with several miles worth of trails in it, not to mention REAL DEER, and a BEAVER POND, and a bunch of crap like that.

I usually walk 3 or 4 miles when we go (I add it up on the map), but it takes a few hours with all of the rest breaks, etc. I kinda miss the coast for this sort of hiking, to be honest, but I never did it when I lived there, so it's kinda moot.

I walked 9 miles today total *beams*
WOW! Great job T, you have earned the right to beam a little.

This rad walking is new to me, It's time to glide while the pounds are down. It took awhile to get to this point. I'm lu'v it :)

I rock ?? lol and to think a year ago all I could do was roll :(
It sure is a good feeling knowing you can go for longer distances isn't it T?. LMAO at the "roll" comment.

Have a good day and keep up the good work.

I totally  Joan Jett even though some members didn't like her av I had up last week :(

and yes, it's fun to have friends on here to joke with about our different phases of obesity - a testament to the great people on here (which is most).

Yeah man, I'm really bored and just finding something to do. I'm really striving for my stretch run to getting a part-time job (non-online anyway). Next month will be important on buttoning up some 'go forward' stuff in my life, not all abilities are measured by waistlines or what the scales read.

I was a warehouse foreman many years back and it was an aggressive forklift situation. We had some serious daredevils behind the wheel of those lifts - me included :) I have to admit, getting in and out of those 10 hours a day was more exercise than I really thought about until I went into trucking. A sloth could drive a big truck (and many do).

I hope to step up to trailsy-type walks this summer. Pa. can offer up some great nature viewing as well

Thanks Fenster :) I'm going back out today for a planned 6 miler. It did snow a tad last night but nothing stuck. The sun is out and tho it's gonna be a chilly walk, I'm still up for the walk. Your the last person I have to explain Pa. weather to - especially where you live !! It's amazing how different your weather is compared to ours down here even tho we're not so many miles apart.

In the back of my mind, I use to fear being stranded in a big truck and not being able to pull myself out of the cab if need be or having to walk to get help if my life depended on it. Chances are I woulda died before either one of those options were doable, now I have a sportin' chance :)

So in all that, did you say you were going for your walk or no?
:)

I'm outta here in about 15 minutes!

BTW, good morning!

It's nice to knock a fear on it's ass; I'm working on that myself. :)

9 miles?... 6 miles?.. Wow. Just, just wow.
Keep up the great work Randy!!!! :D

lol, luv the headbanger !! Thank you Amy. I'm still proud of what you're doing. I think of toothless ferrets sig and think of those 5% people, you are amongst the minority me thinks.

BTW, good morning!

I just ate my fruit-based breakfast so I'll give it about an hour before walking. Best burn rates are 1 to 2 hours after eating so I'm told.

Yep, I'll be out there shortly.

I think you're made of stronger stuff than you give yourself credit. I think you're past the 'working on it' stage, you're clearly in the 'doing it' stage.

Considering what you have to work with, what you're pulling off is no easy feat.

I applaud you DQ :)

And I'm gonna finish that story just for you. Anyone (sadist) who reads my entire diary deserves to know the outcome I think.

Well, my fear is the bathing suit...specifically, showing off my 'assets'. Hate it. That's what I'm working on right now, so by spring when it comes time to buy a new suit and summer clothes, I won't go for big and baggy.

I'm sure you're gonna look fine in a bathing suit. You're showing no fear on getting there, I doubt when the moment of truth arrives you will be disappointed - in fact I doubt any of us will :)

When you work this hard, failure is not an option.

Confidence DQ, confidence.

9 miles total in one day??? WOW, that is fantastically amazing! Way to go!!!! I guess I have no excuse to not even get in a few lazy miles myself, eh? And, did I read this right, you did this in PA? I'm in Pittsburgh and it is FREEZING today, only 23. I had to walk across the Smithfield Street bridge form parking to downtown. Correction, I nearly ran, it was THAT cold. I really have to find some motivation to get back on my walking routine. At one point in my life I was up to 7 miles a day and felt so guilty if I missed a day. Those days are long gone, although I shouldn't dwell on it, right? Just refresh and restart..... I wish it wasn't so darn cold though at 6 a.m.!

:) Congratulations on your 9 miles. I am in awe.

Hello there T, hope your morning is off to a good start.....actually its like 6 min till noon......but hey........I spent the mornign unfreezing a buddies water lines under her trailer..........that sucks majior you know what!!!! I felt like a popsicle after 2hrs in 4degree temp............. we used a salamander heater that one of my other buddies had to do most the work.......when that tub water started to trickle out i almost did a cartwheel........almost:D !!!!! hope your day is better than mine.......off to work now at 1:00 so later on bro!!!! STAR;)

9 Miles:eek: Keep up the good work! Remember the QWLF is looking over your shoulder.;) In case you don't know who I'm talking about, here's a picture. Bueno Bye! This is My last picture. Don't want to p*ss Debi off!

I was thinkin the same thing of you,

In fact I challenge you to get into a nice skimpy bikini when you get down to your goal weight and post us pics!

Ill do the same!
Mm we should make it a tradition or something, when you hit your goal weight you gotta wear a bikini and post pics (no matter how bad the skin thing is)
