I always wanted more than one child - 4 or 5 would've been just perfect for me. I think my most reflective times are when my daughter was born. I'd trade my soul to go back there again a couple more times *sigh*

I always wanted 3 or 4...I had three for a bit ... LOL ... My parents always wanted a football team but stop after two of us because we were too much trouble...after this round here I think I am done...it will take one hell of a man to convince me to go there again...that trust is so hard and for me has been broken to many times...

Few things are better then bringing a child into this world, aye, T2?!

Great exersice today... 3 miles!... I get tuckered at 2... I try to walk as fast as I can and bend my arms and move them back and forth, it keeps your core tight when you walk. haha... I bet I look like a freak.

Gun season starts Saturday you know... me in the woods, with a Benelli.. hehe, Just have to remember to wear my glasses this year, so I can kill one instead of wound one!!

Have a great night T2...You are rockin with the walkin n biken!

Bear season starts here Monday then our deer season the following Monday after T-day weekend - over 1 million hunters in the woods -sheesh and some will die, they always do - mostly of heart attacks and yes, some get shot too.

It's amazing our state kicks Indiana in numbers because your deer our bigger than ours. I've seen those southern Indiana deer - freakin' huge !!

Be careful out there Heidi and I hope you bag one. I can't wait for the venison jerky :)

haha, same here - that window is closed. At 47, planting the proverbial seed is not an option.

Tonight's video shows my sensitive side (who knew??) I can rock softly with the best of them. I enjoyed seeing this band 3 times 'back in the day' - they never disappoint.

Sometimes you just have to play a 'mood' video...

Its amazing how children can effect your life. Before I had my daughters I had no idea how'd I'd handle having a child. Now that I have them, I have no idea how I handled life without them.

I bet your a really great dad!

I *heart* Heart!

I would love another baby if I met the right guy...I always wondered what it would be like to have a kid with someone who actually wanted one.

oh, and i totally LOVE HEART!!! They're the best!

All I can say is..."B...B...Barracuda!!"

Any tips?

1. Start small - but do start and start everyday - even if it's 5 minutes a day. You will improve over time, give yourself that chance to keep improving - it's critical.

2. Build slowly - chances are if you're overweight/obese, you're out of shape. Keep that in mind at all times. Too much too soon will more than likely result in stoppage or failure and in the worst case, injury or possibly death.

3. Selection - It's pretty critical. You have limits and you also want something that keeps you interested. It's pretty easy to see why walking the is the standard choice, most everyone can do it and it's not too difficult to walk 5 minutes to start, virtually no expense and it can be done just about anytime. Walking is rarely boring (with music) and the progress to expand this exercise doesn't take long.

If you enjoy any exercise, you will do it more often - plain and simple.

4. Don't be embarrassed - Even though you will be and yes, people will be watching. You have to set it aside. You will get the final laugh - eventually. You'll also be surprised that there will be a mutual respect after awhile, the thin people will eventually smile or nod and wave - not all, but you will become one of them in time. We're not there for their acceptance or approval however you will feed off of their acknowledgment and it can give you added drive to keep after it.

The embarrassment factor will turn full circle - I know, it's a hard one to swallow.

5. Motivation - The desire to look better and feel better, add in the prolonging your life factor and you have a good recipe to get off your ass and do it. Again, if you enjoy it, the motivation rarely needs to be enticed. I wake up every day wanting to exercise on my level. Results will enhance your motivation as well, just give it time.

Great tips Toots! I might have to break a little of that advice off for myself! ;)
Looks like you had a great day!! Yay!! Hmm.. that reminds me - we still have some of your soup left in the freezer... I think I'll defrost that for supper tomorrow!! :D:D

tomato soup sounds good. may have to put soup back on the menu for lunch or dinner each day. soup is good food.

Thx Amy :) I get the warm fuzzies thinking you actually made that soup and you totally blew my parents away with your research. I think my dad said 'you're shittin' me' when I told him it was 240 cals a bowl. You're the bestest !!

Soup is underrated me thinks, but I do see a small contingent on here give Campbell's low support due to its high sodium numbers. I still love it anyway and there is so much good eats inside soup. We agree - soup is good food.

Seven years after my divorce - and I'm still glad I'm divorced, you hit on the biggest void inside of me that still exist - the 'family unit' thing. I do miss it a lot. Oh well, life's not over yet - I may get to re-enter a 'unit' situation before it's all said and done.

T2, Can i quote the Tips for my book? (full credits to you!)

Sure Wishy, take whatever you want. I have no problem with that - no credit needed.

Good on you Tina !! It's been here waiting for you all the time. Eventually we have to abandon gimmicks and get down to what will work for the rest of your life. It's undeniable a healthy menu and exercise is the key to prolonged good health and quality of life.

Don't feel bad, it took me a lil over 46 years to see the light, my only regret is waiting this long.

Since last night was a 'mood' video I'm changing it to a more 'history' subject today.

If you ever wondered what was the very first video to air on MTV (and some of you probably already know this) here it is and appropriately named - at least in intent. We now know radio never did get killed by video but it sure did change music forever.

Off for a 5 miler - small window of opportunity here so I better scat. No morning bike ride either :(

Feel free to throw rotting tomatoes and decaying lettuce at my diary while I'm gone.

I always thought that was so poetic that that was the first video on Mtv.. and actually it's sort of true. I mean, would rock gods like Eric Clapton have made it so big if their career hinged on 'the look'... probably not.

Nice Choice! :D

And enjoy the walk!! Sorry no bike ride today - maybe tomorrow?
Have a super deeee duper day.. sorry.. channeling Barney there.. *shame* I should probably go now...lol.

Well look at you with yet another pretty av !! :) I need to enroll in the Amyworld House of Smiles classes :D

*waves goodbye to the evil ducky bong*

But yet in another swing the major rockers did utilize and further enhanced their careers with MTV - Clapton included. I'm not being argumentative here, you did clarify in my mind what 'hinged' meant and I fully agree. In fact, I was happy to see 'old school' plow its way through MTV. IIRC, when The Who jumped on board and Run-DMC single-handedly resurrected Aerosmith, the limits on-old-meets-new were lifted and MTV went multi-generational until the "Real World" era ousted the classics-gen and went full-blown yuppieville.

As for my walk, I adjusted as soon as I set foot outside. Weather took a threatening stance so I relinquished the trail idea - believe me, the trail is no place to be 2.5 miles out and get blasted with cold rain. I just zipped down the hill to the big track and fought high winds for 3 miles (brrrrr) and was going to press on for a bit longer when Mother Nature sent me home.

I'll probably get a bike ride in tonight after supper - no worries either way. I am pretty sore right now and have put in a lot of effort this week, probably my most conscious effort since mid-August. I may just lounge tonight *shrugs*

My discipline has allowed me to downgrade my 'front butt' to a 'pooch belly'. Seeing how it's the most prominent feature (and last to get rid of) I'm now seeing results, which I'm really happy about. At one point I thought lipo was the best option but I stayed strong with what I read online that continued diet and exercise will shrink the lower abdominal region eventually, it's holding to be true - ugh, patience is a mutha sometimes...

I took my first walk in XL sweatpants today and I liked the non-MC Hammer look even though I still need to wear my shirts on the outside to pick up that lil edge to cloak the 'pooch belly' a bit. Me vain ?? Ha !!

Heya's T2
Just wanted to say Howdy and congrats
on getting the 2.5 miles in! I know it's freezing out there for me
and I am so whimpy when it comes to cold freezing air!
Speaking of reality shows I applied and had a 1st interview for

times and found it intersting plus 20 grand for 7 days hmmm not

Afternoon sunshine! hope your day has rocked. Guess what I did...I actually worked out today! you inspired me to get off my lazy arse and get to it. thanks *forum love* see ya round, I should be on line later this afternoon (here, evening for you), catch me for a chat or something.

Don't you love smaller sweats???? You do five miles, and I try to do about that, can't always because of work...but, I find it very invigorating!!! As for MTV, yeah , I do remember the beginnings, who knew how wildly popular it would become.

Glad to hear the "front butt" is fading away...can't wait for mine to do the same :)

The good news is it will fade away. Some days my patience wears thin getting to the finish line, then I look at my fat pics and all the sudden I find patience as my best friend :)
