This Trucker Fights Back

Hey There T2 - I'm finally able to make the rounds :)

Hope you're doing well - oh, and in terms of pictures and my new hair style - seems I have to wait another 7 pounds or so. My goal was to post my pictures at my half way mark (51 down 51 to go) then the half way of my last half way ;) I'm getting there though...One day at a time (if I could only stay away from Jack & Guiness) ;)

*bows at your presence* :D

I'd drop the dark beer for the Jack in a heartbeat. Skinny cals vs. heavy beer cals is a no-brainer. Diet Squirt isn't so bad of a chaser for sippin' whiskey - just sayin'

Well now that you're walking again, I guess you won't have to drive to the AA meetings ?? (do I really have to insert "I'm joking" here ??)

Hmmm...
Guinness Beer - 1 Pint, 1 serving 210 Calories
Jack Daniels, 2 fl. oz - 142 Calories

And my other option
Tequila, 2 fl. oz 128 Calories

You might have a point about a dark beer vs a shot, but those shots go FAST (notice the calories are equivelent to TWO shots, since I never have just ONE!)

As for getting the number for AA meetings near me, you know, if I didn't start walking soon, I might have to walk to the next meeting ;)

It stands to reason, and I think we all know someone, somewhere this applies to: Whiskey drinkers are almost always jailhouse thin. I only have to go look at page 4 on my B & A page to see a reminder of what beer drinking (in part) does to a person.

It won't be long before I get my annual holiday 'spirits' selection(s) and I seriously doubt there will be a beer purchase this year. (especially after last Saturday - Wooooooo !!)

I think I will get another bottle of Grey Goose Lime, that was most excellent stuff :)

I'll probably need spellcheck from Dec 23rd till Jan. 2nd - just sayin' :D

Ohhh, did I miss a big happening on Saturday? I've been out of commission really!

As for beer, well, I love dark beer, but I guess I can drink my whisky neat and alone - but jack goes soooo well with guiness.....

anyhoo - spell checkers are my friend.
When I remember to use them ;)

Pure ego-building day (if I had one). A lady came to my place to answer a sales ad I had in our local flyer and what should've been a slamdunk 10 minute deal lasted over 3 hours. A great vibe was felt and explored in meaningful conversation, we've expanded our conversation online as of late. A dinner date is imminent. She has no use for this forum if you know what I mean ;) (at least in self-application) early 40's, well kept and certainly educated. I like her.

Then Sherri called and wanted to hang out for the evening - yada yada yada - we had an 'etc'ellent night. I thought that was nice of her to bring the beer :) don't you ?? (lite even) :) I can't speak for all men, but I have a huge weakness for women who know what they want and go after it. As big as a turn on as it gets. :)

So anyhow, I just got back from a 2.5 miler. I didn't really plan on a double walk today but tomorrow looks like a wash out and I also like the chance of walking in November in shorts so I went for it. (and got soaked too :D )

I'm sipping a sugarless cocoa again and gnawing on a bit of jerky - let's add another 200 cals on today's total.

400 in about 550 out - I got room for a pretty liberal supper, we'll see later what tho...( I see pizza flavored goldfish in the forecast tonight :) )

Tonight's video is thee unchallenged champion of all political satires every aired. Again, innovation put this this video into heavy rotation to the point of exhaustion (An MTV trademark) Who knew puppets could be so fun ?? now all you need is one of the best drummer-led bands to lay down a beat to commence the marionette's action. This video was truly a sign of the times.

Or might not be able to ;)
