mmmmm, that first cup of coffee of the day
The novacaine wore off enough to negotiate the required mouth function associated with coffee consumption so on with the java - ahhhhh
I think this morning was my first trip to the dentist for a non-extraction procedure in 20-some years. First I gasped when they said they had to numb for a teeth cleaning and second I was horrified that they used this gizmo equal to a sandblaster. Whatever happened to the scrap scrap scrap thingy ??
Well the novacaine was justifible as my gums took a back alley-style beatin'. I think this will assist to a reasonable diet, I can't imagine chewing anything today. I'm certainly not leaving the coffee to linger for savory purposes and more like a straight shot across the tongue and down the hatch. I hope to get a bowl of oatmeal or two in before my walk later so I have something to fuel me - I don't care for room temp. oatmeal but it looks like that's the order of the day
I guess it stands to reason that a man that never took care of his diet probably didn't take care of his dental needs much better. Hey I brushed everyday, but then again I ate everyday too. Remember now I was gone usually two weeks at a time and it was impossible to find a dentist open on Sundays and I just left those lil cavities go until it was extraction time. I got schooled on how to brush my teeth too. How messed up is that to be 47 and not knowing how to brush properly ?? After watching the right way, I definitely didn't have the right method all these years. This flossing thing looks fun too ::: rolls eyes :::
I was blessed - I have all my front teeth (only 3 minor fillings needed on those) but I did my molds for my upper and lower molars today too. I'm really excited about reuniting all 32 teeth here shortly
I wish some of you would laugh with me on this but I know some of you are laughing at me and rightly so. I am a dental donkey. In case I forgot to mention it, I always hated going to the dentist.
As of today, I am no longer an anti-dentii.
