Happy Birthday Baby! I have a present and a "cake" for you :D ;) Wish I could send 'em through the 'net but the last time I tried that, the dinner didn't reach you in one piece!! ;)

Glad you enjoyed the concert, Hon :D Your date sure is a pretty thing - enjoy what you two have and see where it takes you ;) She has a wonderful guy in you - I KNOW she knows that (she can't smile like that and NOT know it! ;) ) Just in case she doesn't, she can contact me and I'll give you a good reference ;) heheheheh Yeah, I'm weird, but... you know how the rest goes :D LMAO!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I would normally send people a picture of a giant cake, but why would I wish something that only tastes good for a few seconds, then makes you feel sick and bloaty and farty later??? Here, I'll send you something healtheir and tastier then cake....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ENJOY!!

-K-

Thank You Ladies :)

I positioned myself for a 'flex' day being it was my birthday. Did all the ultra-lean morning and afternoon stuff to account for a non-typical dinner. I got through the day fairly safe with a pair of 100 cal snacks prior to dinner and then I ordered the one-third pound sirlion burger (hell yes I got it with the bun !! happy birthday from me to me) with A1 only and a massive salad from the bar with 2 generous scoops of high octane parm and pepper dressing.

I'd say today was around the robust side of 1700 cals - who knows for sure, but in the worse case scenario I doubt I did much damage. I took in a double walk today for two sets of 2 miles.

Any birthday 110+ lbs lighter than last years had to be a great birthday :)

So sorry I missed your B-day Trucker. From the sounds of it, it was a good one. You are so right about being 100lbs lighter than last years b-day. Make celebrating that much more fun. A1 on steak??? Everytime I bring out the Tony Roma's sauce, my husband just about has heart failure. His steaks do not need any sauces to smother the taste. :D He is an awesome cook...(better than me anyday).

Have a great day Trucker and hope that the day after your b-day brings you much success. ;)

Ooooo Jodee, Steak without A1 is like pizza without cheese or crawdads without tabasco sauce. Even the best steak can only get better with A1 splashed on it in my world. I can't imagine a good sirloin burger without that magic sauce dripping off the sides - it's just sooooooo yummy !! but then, I've always been about the spices. I sorely miss my A1 ops on this new menu because I rarely eat meat outside of the poultry family :(

Ugh, Birthday Dinner #2 is slated for tonight so I'm on pretty much on the same schedule today as I was yesterday. We're going to a place pretty famous for its steak/chicken salads and I'm leaning that way for now but they make a pretty mean shrimp ravioli too...

Thank you for the belated well wishes.

I hope to get around to writing my current thoughts on my diet in its current state, I'm really not a happy camper right now. I need to organize my thoughts and probe the readers for feedback.

We're all waiting with bated breath for you thoughts......

LOL

LoL what a gig you have !! Basking in the sun-drenched midwest, sitting the comfortable confines of air-conditioning, toenail painting at leisure, texting gourmet diet recipes and writing forum comedy !!

Only seems fitting someone should activate a little respiratory increase in you occasionally ;) :p :)

HI ya, T! Sounds like you did well at dinner last night :D You deserved the bun - it WAS your birthday! LOL I hope you enjoy tonights dinner as well - man, those are some tough choices! ;)

TTFN, Hon - I'll try to connect with you later :D

I just realized I haven't popped in here in a while. Hey T love the new avatar. Looks a little mischevious :D . Anyway I am just writing to tell you that I'm gonna take your advice. I am going to give up the scale for one month! Hey if others can do it I figure I can too. So thanks for the suggestion! My start date is on Monday!

I have a question for ya. What is a crawdad?

Looking back at posts I see that you got another year older. Happy Birthday!

Thank You Piney !! I hope all is going well with you :)

Jenn, here is a crawdad or more commonly know as a crayfish.

I hope breaking the scale habit gives you the mental freedom you desire to amplify your weight reduction through instinct and trust. The phycological drudgery of seeing tiny or no results leaves one fretting and second-guessing if what they're doing is working when in fact it may be working but abandon the plan/method/diet/lifestyle change because they're not thinking long-term.

Personally, since joining WL, I become more concerned about weighing myself - which I rarely did for the first 4 months - and realized I needed to quit doing this and go back to what works for me. The weight was/is going to come off whether you step on a scale or not, so it was time to get back to the mindset of losing weight. If stepping on a scale MADE us lose weight, then everyone's problems would be solved but it really only serves as nothing more than a scorecard of our efforts (or lack of).

I do jog through your diary and I always like your thoughts of the day/week. You have a great attitude and seem to be very goal-oriented. I hope you can get to where you need to be with your goals. Be patient. :)

And thank you for the well wish.

I'm so late to the birthday party!!!!!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Sounds like you had fun, and I would totally have eaten the bun too!! LOL!!!!
