Hi Randy!!!! I miss our Tuesday nights together!

I know. So crazy they dropped Tuesdays from the calendar!?!? Maybe Tuesdays will be back in 2009. To be honest, I didn't get the memo about Tuesdays being banished. What a pricks trick.

Hey! Thanks for popping in!!

Loved the Photo. Did I tell you a story about that? I must have mentioned a nurse story or two. tsk tsk.

You can still go to Vegas. I think we have another person on here just meeting us there to hang out. You're a gambling man, eh?

eh, more than I'd care to admit. I popped a 10K jackpot on dollar slots in Shreveport La.,once. I doubt I'm ahead of the game longterm, tho.

Vegas baby, Vegas. Don't tempt me. Wow.

Yeah, you have nursie stories, I'm sure :)

cirrhosis! yikes thats not good. Maybe it will give him the wakeup call :)

Rain sucks, ive reverted to running which i really dont like much because its just too cold & wet to cycle sometimes :)

Nice pick up on running. Your new life with no limits is just fucking awesome. At some point you really left me in the dust on this weight loss thing. I couldn't be happier for you.

I have zero chance of you ever going back to blue hair, you're just too hawt for silly hair now. I get it.

Yeah, you and I are going to have a nice chat after I get back from Pittsburgh tomorrow. I'm pretty amped up about it, too.

lol!

I would have had the fever forever after hitting a 10K jackpot.

Once I won $250 on the Wheel of Fortune (In nickels) so it seemed like I won big. LOL

The old lady next to me was all sore because she had just left the machine and I didn't even know how to play.

ok, here we go now.

Wednesday, I went to see a plastic surgeon. Yeah, I know...

Well, it is what I wish to pursue. And after talking to them, I feel better that is probably the best option for me. My other option is go skeletal and still have damaged skin in my lower ab region, anyway.

All I know for now is:

It will be 3-4 months before I can get the operation (pending approval).

I do, in fact, qualify medically for this procedure. My hidradenitis supprativa has left substantial scarring making it 100% impossible for the inflicted area to ever heal through reduction of weight loss. Compound it with my age and the skin is never going to re-generate elasticity, it's a 'must do'. Understand this though, 'quality of life' is not a consideration for payment decisions. I guess of all the suffering my condition gave me, the pay off pitch is now being delivered.

I need to extend my time smartly in preparation for all this. I have to quit smoking. They 100% will not do the surgery on a smoker. I have to lose another 12 - 15 lbs to get the proper contour so when I'm done, I'll have my most realistic build. Otherwise, I'll be unhappy with the look (to some degree). Only so much they can remove.

Root me one for the next step in my life. This isn't as cut and dry as I make it sound. This has me a bit pensive and apprehensive. There are always risk at stake.

The 'Before and After' book in the lobby is chock full of great 'after' pics but I did notice none of the dead people were listed. They have lost people from this. I did ask. Is vanity worth a trip to the crematorium ?? Well, eventually I'll be there anyway, so why not !?!? :)

I just read your post, what are you having done exactly? Skin removal? I hope it goes smoothly!!

Quitting smoking is so difficult to do! I have quit several times, but my last time I relapsed while in vegas. Going to try to quit again next week. One thing I did, that really helped me was doing a juice fast. I bought a juicer, and make my own juice, drank it for a week. Only juice though, and after the 3rd or 4th day, I didn't need the patches anymore, I was feeling good and the juicing helped flush out the nicotine. I know juicing isn't easy, but I recommend it for a detox cleanse, it really helps the withdrawal process.

Good luck with the quitting Randy; think of all the money you'll save. ;) And good luck with the surgery, I'm sure you'll let us know the date once it's official?

Way to go Randy!!!!

I want before and after pics on this! the smoking causes thinning blood so you dont heal so quit that nasty also (im done with them before donating the kidney thing).

Randy, yes, you must quit smoking. I will be your biggest cheerleader in this effort! My friend swears by chantix (I think that's what it's called.) You can do it, I know you can!!!

You'd be so proud, I biked 20 miles on Saturday and the first 10 were all up hill... my legs were killing me by day's end. :) We need to schedule a bike ride soon!

Quitting will be cold turkey. I did it before, I can do it again. I just know I can do it. Like everything else I've done, I have to just want it bad enough. There is too much at stake not to be ready. If approved, this is an opportunity of a lifetime.

This will be fairly tricky, though. My biggest fear is the obvious weight gain. The three years I did quit led to the reason I'm here in the first place.

Maybe it's time to get a woman to move in with me. You know, maybe make out everytime I have that urge to put something up to my mouth !! In theory, this should work, no ?!?!

Thanks Dari *smiles* And I hate money, just so you know. Money causes more trouble than cars and women combined *ducks*

Where the hell you been, btw ??

Yeah, I figured you'd want my dick pics (kidding) You're such a major perv !! (not kidding) Actually the 'befores' have already been shot so if I do a complete B & A, that means it's mission accomplished. If I make it that far, I'll be more than thrilled to post pics

Weeee !! I got a *\o/* !! Thanks for the forum love !!

Presently, you're kicking my ass in biking. As things have gone differently up here, I haven't devoted near as much time as I'd like to the last 10 days. I really have squandered most of a key month so far *unhappy face* The good Doc did offer me Chantix. I passed.

My Surgeon:

His rep is beyond any concern I could conjure up. I feel like I'm in the right place.

Will you be coming to Pittsburgh for the surgery? Let me know. My home is open to you and any of your relatives you need a place to crash! I'm not that far from the Oakland hospitals...maybe 15 minutes sans traffic!

man, you bumped me. How did you find the jam to knock over the tombstone on my diary ??

Hell, I'll re-bump this dead thread for the two sweet ladies giving me the business :)

WLF is the place to be for the inspired :willy_nilly:

bump your ass

ah. you again :p hows things, mate ?? no need to ruff me up because I come in for a visit, is there ??

I hate you for not sharing your summer with me :cuss: I got to get my 200+ miles in before the snow flies (which already happened, ffs).

You got some mad races planned this summer ??

Yoo hoo!!!!!! :waving: Glad you're still riding!

I'm still running--I did my first half marathon in early October, and I started getting WAY into Yoga--Intermediate and Advanced stuff, really fun. No boyfriend to screw up my life, and lots of dancing on the weekends. Life is sweet, hope it's the same for you :beating:

I heard you like it rough! Try lookin into a SPIN bike, its my new cool thing. Replicates a real bike really well, great resistance and beats an exercycle hands down!
I got a 160km bike ride in 3 weeks (about 100mi) over the nastest hills ever, so been putting in a few km to make that happen fast as possible :D
Im thinkin about buying a Spin bike, but for now using the ones at the gym.

Hey T, hows it going. I assume you have been on your best behavior. :smilielol5:

I'm doing well here. My eating and workouts have been a little off lately as I have been busy with a new job as well as the everyday stuff, but the weight has stayed pretty steady. 208 + or - 5. I never did really make it to onederland (yet), although I was close, I was right at 199/200 the day before I did the triathon. But I was training HARD going into it.

Later Bro
